Just about impossible to get a prescription filled. First visit - it took a month to get my medicine. Ok fine things happen. I needed to refill my prescription. I had the Dr call in the PA 2 weeks prior to running out of medication. No calls or text so I call them. Unfortunately their phone recording keeps cutting out and I couldn't get to the pharmacy. I call the Dr office. They say that for some reason cvs isn't calling or texting customers. Ok I go by the pharmacy. They have the prescription order from the doctor. They didn't fill it because it's expensive and not covered by my insurance. If they looked at the records they would see that I was paying for it. They say they can order it and it might be there Monday but I should call first. Remember I said that their phone recording was not working? Well they say you can come by then...insert frustration. I ask how we can avoid this going forward and I might as well been speaking a different language. The person just looked at me dumbfounded.I'm not done.I had 2 packages to return through ups and there happen to be a drop off at this cvs location. "OH no we can't take those. You need to print out the sticker" I use ups returns all the time for Amazon. Apparently cvs foesnt accept qr codes. All this to say GOODBYE AND GOOD RIDDANCE . I transferred the prescription to Amazon pharmacy. I will never shop there or any cvs again.

I'm a 65 year old man with Diabetes who's been waiting for a shingles vaccine for over a year. I finally got the call from CVS in Warwick, NY. I went there yesterday for Senior hour (9:00-10:00AM) where I was told to wait at least 30 minutes for my vaccine. I don't want to be in a store for 5 minutes, never mind 30 minutes! Ridiculous! I spoke with the manager who apologized and said she'd straighten it out and wanted me to come back to the pharmacy with her. I told her that there's no way I'd have someone who I just complained about put something in my body! I left and went to Rite Aid in West Milford where I got my vaccine without having to wait given to me by the wonderful Danielle who treated me like she cared! Much better experience! I'll never go to CVS again!

The pharmacy seriously needs some customer service training. The woman behind the counter helping me was horrendous. She was rude AF and was RUSHING to go onto lunch. Have never felt so uncomfortable asking for pharmaceutical assistance. She was too excited to eat her stupid a** peanut butter jelly sandwich, like are you 7?

This CVS is clean and easy to find things. The sales associate Owen always makes you feel welcome and is very friendly also.

This location, Warwick NY, as well as corporate makes up their own rules contradicting NYS Pharmacy guide lines per the Govt CDC. in particular, article 80, section 73 ( 80:73). The Government states that if your prescription cannot be filled in it's entirety, the pharmacy is supposed to give you the amount they have on hand, then fulfill the balance that is due when they are back in stock. If after a 72 hr period, if the remaining balance cannot be met, the prescribing Dr must resubmit the Rx for the remaining medicine. I was told by the Warwick NY Pharmacy that if they provided the available stock on hand until the shipment of the balance arrived, my script is considered complete by CVS and I CANNOT GET THE REMAINDER of my medicine. When I confronted the pharmacist with the official Govt document, I was told it is strictly a CVS policy. What b******** I will never, ever use CVS again. If my arm was partially sliced open, I would wrap it with a paper towel and use duct tape to hold it in place before I would go there for bandages. Also to note regarding their B******* RULES. If your prescription is filled on the 1st but you do not pick it up until the 4th, (out of town, vacation), they will not release the medicine. Their rules are the PICK UP DATE for release, even though the Dr prescribes it for the 1st. CVS now plays GOD and thinks they know more than your Physician. Almost forgot, a friend had back surgery and picked up her pain medicine. She was smart and counted her RX when she received. It was short 8 pills. She went immediately back and was given the missing medicine. And the pharmacy denied they did anything wrong and stated they "triple check" the order. Yeah, OK .. Sure they do. NOT !!!! A) they don't know how to count, B) they have a drug addict in the pharmacy or C) they employ a drug dealer. Akins, Apple Valley and Florida Pharmacy don't play those games. My business is directed now to the small town local pharmacies who actually care and you are not just a number. Support the small town friendly business. THEY CARE. Mike D, Warwick NY (2 dozen + surgeries, so I know a little bit BTW) I would rate them a MINUS 5 if I could.

Only reason I'm giving a two star rating is because of the sales associate Ethan. Absolutely the best associate there with the best attitude to go with. As for the pharmacy department, all I can say is "Wow" they need serious customer service training. I unfortunately have had to use them for two years since they are the closest Cvs within miles of me. Before I got accustom to the automated system of refilling the prescription, I would call to speak with a pharmacist directly and almost without a greeting at all, they would cut me off midsentence asking for my birthday and my first name, not just once but every time I would call. On one occasion when a pharm-tech answered the phone very rudely I asked to speak to a manager and before I could even get out the word manager out she put me on hold with no notice, the pharmacist apologize but I don't believe anything was done. If you can I would definitely use a different pharmacy as I am currently looking for one closer to my job thanks to the terrible service in this pharmacy .

Many of the people in the pharmacy are kind. The pharmacists are knowledgeable. But the lines are usually very long. They say they can't find people to hire. Perhaps they should pay more. And their assistants are sometimes incompetent. One told me my insurance card, which I've used at cvs, was for hospitals only. I had to insist. I also has to push for them to find an alternative for a cough syrup they didn't have. They said they'd order and have it the next day. Not real useful for a sick child. Turns out they had enough to give me a partial order. No apology for either mistake. Then I find out today he didnt save the insurance information. It takes them 10 minutes to enter it so more time wasted. 10 minutes may not seen like a lot unless you're exhausted and gave to get home. Again, no apology. I'm going to check out the other pharmicies in town.
