At night the store is no good. Little fresh produce is left. The staff is unhelpful and almost rude. Tara the manager refused to check a price and has an I could care less attitude. As a working mum I have to shop at night, but this store is failing in the late night hours.

I like Price Chopper, but I'd like to see better upkeep of their snack bar area, and more prepared, ready to eat choices, like salads. Their prices seem to be higher overall than the nearby Shoprite, so I think the shopping experience should match. This is a great place to run in to grab a few items or shop the sale prices. Their floral department always has a nice selection.

Good prices in a smaller store, with less selection and a more “Wal-Mart” feel than the manicured ShopRite around the corner.
I applaud the EV chargers and low prices, but they don't work most of the time. I also dislike that ever since the pandemic, they're no longer 24-hour, despite the rest of life mostly going back as it was.
I'd support the employees, should they chose to unionize, like at ShopRite; it would make me feel a lot better about shopping there.

Most go to the nearby ShopRite, which is undeniably better. However, this means that Price Chopper is less crowded and, generally, cheaper.

Went to the "food court" for lunch. Website says fresh sushi they had none whatsoever. Not a big deal ordered a fried chicken meal waited 10 mins for someone to even wait on us. Then after 20 mins ask how much longer and they didn't even start it yet. But there were 3 people behind the counter and almost the whole time we're just conversing between themselves. Was told give them 10 more mins. Just asked for a refund instead and went to ShopRite

I've been in the area for a few years & tend to do most of my shopping at shoprite. The prices seem to be lower and it's closer to me, but with the word inflation being tossed off everyone's lips, I think shoprite took it as an opportunity to jack up prices? So now Shoprite and Price Chopper are more competitive with other and that's a problem for Shoprite because when it comes to friendly service, cleanliness of the store, and quality of the other departments Price Chopper has them beat hands down. The deli and prepared foods at PC are of much better quality, the bakery is much better, the produce is superior... almost every PC dept is just better. Even their rewards program is better. PC rewards saves me on gas, not just in-store products. If you have not been here in a while because they seemed more expensive in the past, give them another shot.
