I had a mishap with my vehicle and was in need of a place to stay that was not only convenient for walking to the mechanic shop, but also safe. Katie (geez I hope that's her name!) Was so helpful with assisting me in booking a room. Josh was also a delight!! I was in the middle of a panic attack bc of my vehicle situation and they really saved the day!

What a great Hotel! After a long drive from Trenton Ontario Canada, Upon checking in, the front deskman Josh was well mannered and courteous, he provided me and my niece with recommendations of close restaurants to choose from and some sites to see while in Watertown NY. He also provide us with a brief history of Watertown. I think Josh said his relative was part of the town counsel in the past. Josh is a great ambassador for the hotel. The hotel has some real cool historical photographs adorning the hotel from back in the day. It's a must see if your a history buff.I would like to say a special thanks to "Mr. Billie Chapman" the General Manager of the Best Western Watertown. He knows how to run a hotel! Thank you Billie! Thanks for the stay and we will see you again real soon.Rooms: The rooms are clean and spacious.Nearby activities: Went to visit fort Drum, and shopping at Salmon Run Mall. Toured the downtown core to see the beautiful brickwork buildings.Walkability: Great location for sightseeing and walking.

The internet connect was practically non existent, the swimming pool water was freezing and when we turned on our shower, it sounded like it was going to explode .

This hotel is a last resort or cheap option only. Who ever runs it is collecting the cash and not keeping it fla fully functional hotel.

I’ve stayed here twice. The pool and gym was out of order the second time due to maintenance. The rooms are a standard size with average amenities. They have a hearty breakfast. The location is great in the center of Watertown but parking can get awkward. The prices are fair. It’s a great place to stay if you are on the road need to stop in the middle of a storm.Rooms: Rooms are traditional with a standard cable TV. You get what you pay for.Nearby activities: You can order delivery and food will be at your door in less than an hour

We had a quiet room with a comfy bed. Breakfast was good. Hot choices. The pool is closed and the banquet rooms condemned-strange. Restaurant/Bar was closed. Hotel could use some renovations and upgrades. Only saw 3 workers the entire stay but they were very friendly. The doors leading to lobby from parking lot are not automatic so you have to struggle if you want to bring a luggage cart to your car. The ramp up to main lobby is too narrow for a luggage cart, it took quite the maneuvering to navigate. Part of the 1st floor is up a set of stairs, not accessible by the elevator. Of course that's where our room was but the desk clerk was great and found us a room on 2nd floor.

This place is awesome. The breakfast comes with the room. It has scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, and the other stuff that comes with a continental breakfast. They do not limit the food. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We stay there often. This is an older, well established place. Nothing was cheap in the original construction. When you stay here you are in the middle of town. Museums, library and restaurants are in walking distance. Clean, friendly, and safe. There are two EV chargers. The pool heated, and people use it. The GM mentioned that they are going to remodel the rooms.Rooms: Clean and spacious.Walkability: Most everything you need is in walking distance. This part of town is historic.

Me and my family stayed here last weekend for my sisters wedding. I told one of the employees (Josh) I was decorating the suite for my sister so it was a Bridal Suite. He was AMAZING. He was super helpful and truly the definition of above and beyond. He easily took 20 trips to our room with a smile on his face whether it was towels or something stupid we needed for decorations. Even after we got settled in he even called to make sure we had enough towels and blankets for all of the girls. 10/10 customer service. Josh if you see this, thank you again! You are a gem!Food & drinks: If you stay here we highly recommend The Paddox. It’s maybe a 5 minute walk. Food was great and bartenders were amazing. Bill was also WAY cheaper than I expected which is always nice!

Good location, price, service, but I need more!In a perfect world, executives at Best Western would read and act on these reviews. 1. Hardworking and helpful staff, in a building that needs a few upgrades. Super desk staff and Morning breakfast veteran. Good food. 2. After several stays, I have plotted the WIFI. It is terrible. Please buy boosters. Business travelers NEED WIFi. 3. Business Center, is a lobby desk. Not adequate. 4. Alarm every 5 minutes for an hour in the lobby, not ok! 5. Non smoking room smell like smoke- I think guests smoke outside by the building air intakes.

The hotel is unfortunately a bit outdated and has seen better times. Nevertheless, I would like to give five stars because the staff was very nice and the rooms were clean. The only complaint is that the windows of the rooms could not be opened and therefore the air was a bit stale. Even the air conditioning couldn't change that. In general, it smelled quite strongly of stale air in the whole house. The breakfast room is located without windows in the basement, but it was so far on our trip the best breakfast that tasted very good due to the dedication of the staff. There is ample parking at the two backs of the house. As stated before, would need a thorough renovation at some point.

I’ve stayed at this hotel for many years when visiting my son but I believe I stayed one too many times. Breakfast has diminished, service has diminished and instead of restocking coffee, cups, etc. they just skip you altogether. I’m good with not cleaning but not taking out my trash unless I tell you to do so is ridiculous. They say it’s to not bother the guest but cleaning a room and removing the trash daily are separate.

Comfy beds. Clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. A playground 2 blocks down for kiddos to play. Lots of stores and restaurants within a 10 minute drive. We travel a lot for work and stay in a lot of hotels. We enjoyed our stay here. Just wish the indoor pool was warmer and the guest laundry washer and dryer were working. Those are my only 2 minor complaints.
