Ridiculous. Rented AND PAID for a car on their website on a Wednesday. Showed up that Saturday to a clueless employee who informed me that they had no cars. At all. I had a wedding that day and a four-hour drive and needed a minivan to fit my whole family: a minivan that I had already paid for. I was told he'd send an e-mail to corporate about processing my refund and was sent on my way without so much as a "sorry about that." Still haven't had my money refunded, and not a bit of effort has been made to contact me to explain the situation or try to make me whole. Absolutely ridiculous.

Started off, renting for my business in February. We rent from them every weekend. We had a family emergency went to go see family in Rockland County ended up in a hospital. The car started knocking a broke down. The owner left us in New Jersey because they said the vehicle shouldn’t of been out of there, so I would never rent from them again and mind you I spent over seven grand sense February I am highly disappointed in the service I received. I spoke to the owner directly and that’s what he told me ride in the tow truck or find your own way home and they kept our deposit, worst place to rent from ever every vehicle broke down on us. Well, not every vehicle the last three they kept getting cheaper and cheaper with us.

Used them twice. Most affordable for people without a lot of money who need it vehicle for a few days. Vehicle was mostly clean and in good shape. Only thing I didn’t like was that they didn’t want you out to go more than 100 miles away from their business and one of my occasional recreational places was a 104 miles, but other than the 100 mile conditions I would definitely recommend them

Obtaining the rental was no problem, however - customer was unduly overcharged and pursued for more money down the line during tax season - likely so they could lie on their taxes.If they think they can scam you (out of anything) - they will. Do not believe that these folks support veterans. Good luck.

Smooth and easy process from start to finish. Staff was very helpful and friendly, and do whatever they can to help the customer. Had to move appointment time up due to some transportation issues and they took care of the necessary adjustments to make it happen and to ensure I was in a vehicle that was clean and ready to go upon my arrival. Good decent rates for the area compared to what the airport have for rates. Goo service all around!

Very unorganized. Car was dirty on the outside. Vehicle had 1/4 tank of gas when I went to pick it up. Contract printed out with 2000 miles less than it actually had on the odometer. They no longer do unlimited mileage which is what I was used to.Never renting again.

I'd highly recommend exploring other options. Rented in the past with this place with my card that is attached to my major checking and savings account, and it's a Visa. After returning the vehicle only to have them steal some fishing tackle that got left behind, we tried to brush it off and reserve something temporarily whilst our vehicle is waiting for a part.The woman on the phone was very rude about the policy and for absolutely no justifiable reason this place suddenly does not take my bank card because for some reason they lack the mental capacity to comprehend that it is not a prepaid card, despite needing the abilities of a toddler to check that it is, and the fact they have in the past.The absolute worst car rental place in all of Upstate NY. It's also hit or miss if the vehicle is dirty or not all along the interior, including trash that was left behind.

They saved us! Our original rental company (which we had prepaid the rental) tried to make us pay $1500 deposit! We called this location right before 6pm to see if they could help and they did!! We had traveled over 24 hours with 2 kids and Rent A Wreck saved our trip (family wedding). Fast, great customer service and we even saved money compared to the first place.

All went well . Fast and quick service . Locally after 150 mi you have to pay , not so great as we put a couple hundred miles on getting to and from around the area .

My half sister wanted to go back to Washington State. Her other sister reserved a car with her cc.When she got there to pick up the car they wouldn't let her rent it because she didn't have the card it was reserved on. Well guess what Rent A Wreck...We put her on a plane. They had no problem with her ticket being bought online elsewhere. So instead of YOU making money, the airline got it instead. So instead of making $500+ you got $0.Not a smart financial move.
