We were looking for a new Box spring and Mattress. Searched Utica high and low $3500 - $4800!! We stopped at Morgan’s True Value right here in Waterville ( we had purchased from him before) Tom took us up stairs looked at the mattresses and I said what are the foam mattresses like? Tom said they are Gel Filled not like the old foam sets. Asked about warranty? Tom explained it’s 3/4” in ten years. Then said did you know your regular set will do the same? Anyway, they delivered on a Sunday!! It’s truly amazing Jodi and I have NOT slept this well in years.
Shop local -Tom and the “crew” they are the best people to deal with.. I have also found something’s are cheaper than the big box stores! Rmcnamara

Excellent service and their prices were lower than other hardware stores in the area. We were in and out within 10 minutes and we had to have paint mixed so it was very efficient!

In the true local hardware store tradition I stopped by looking for an usual part for a lamp. The part was a lamp pole nut(?). I did not know what it was called and could only provide a pretty poor description of the nut. Once I said it was for a lamp the gentleman who helped me took over to the correct part.I was so relieved that he converted my feeble attempt of a description to the solution of my need.Very appreciative of the value of the neighborhood hardware store.
