“I don't understand why the Watkins Glen Walmart Pharmacy gets so much hate. Has the tech at the register ever been not so warm and friendly to me after I waited 15 minutes in a line that keeps growing? Yes, and I get it. Working in customer service sucks. I know because I've been there. As a pharmacy, however, Walmart has been top-notch in keeping in touch via text, letting me know when there was an issue, calling my doctor's office when a prescription couldn't be filled, and even rushing a prescription when I needed it. On several occasions, I've had side conversations with pharmacists, and each time the pharmacist answered all my questions and was super professional and courteous. We can't always get our prescriptions when we want them; the medical system is a monster-sized machine, and things can take time. Also, it's kind to give the person at the register a break. We're all just humans trying to get by.”
