“I highly recommend Gods N Gladiators. My friend and I came across them at the ROC Holiday village and we ended up purchasing one zip up for each of ourselves, and I also bought a hoodie for my niece for Christmas. We love the prints on our pieces, the colors are vivid and well-balanced together, the quality of the material is perfect (super soft on the inside, and they don't feel too thin/cheap), and we really enjoyed hearing about the art process. This business is a great point of representation of the Rochester art scene. Thanks so much for the perfect Christmas gift find! p.s. The paint splattered bag with tissue paper inside was clutch for my last minute wrapping! Thank you for the thoughtfulness.”
“This place was great and is sorely missed by many, including me. For some reason Google refuses to accept that it’s been permanently closed since the end of 2025. I give Google zero stars for refusing to accept reality.”
“Frametastic is the only place one ever need to go for all their framing needs. Joan, the proprietor, is friendly, knowledge, and a skilled craftsman.
Truly a gem of Sea Breeze and Irondequoit!”
“Quaint, ground floor,, exhibition space. Unique student as well as professional shows. It occupies a small portion of the historic Sibleys department store. As with all spaces downtown, parking is a challenge.”
“@Nilson - Thanks for taking the time out to show me VSW’s digital transfer lab and teach me more about the art of preserving analog media types. I look forward to VSW's continued success !”
“We hosted our company event at Artisan Works and it was truly the best venue. It is such a unique space and gave all of our guests something to talk about. Their staff was also amazing to work with. I would recommend them for any event!”
“I enjoyed my visit to the Memorial Art Gallery on Sunday 5/3/26, for Asian Pacific American Heritage Celebration Day 2026. There were a lot of different activities (Dance and music interactive performances, crafts, food and tables with history to learn). It was family friendly, for all ages. The event was spread throughout the Gallery. Whoever organizied the event did a great job.”
“Amazing. I walked in there with a crazy toddler and a dream. But what they created was more than I could have imagined! I wanted this piece to be framed with just as much personality and I think The Great Frame Up nailed it (no pun intended). The woman worked with me on different mat board ideas and was FABULOUS at helping me pick out the absolute perfect frame. It was truly made for this painting. I already have plans to bring in more paintings and photos and military items for a shadow box type idea. You can't go wrong walking in here, everyone is so helpful and professional. Thank you so much for creating this for my family it will be treasured for many years.”
“Wonderful art shop near Rochester New York shared with me by a caring sister. Thoroughly enjoying the painting I found there. It moved me and I was drawn to it several times while visiting the shop. So many pieces that I enjoyed. The watercolor “peace” by Rebecca Maynard truly a comforting scene, thank you for your wonderful work.”
“I took two sets of Ralph Avery prints to Bill at Finishing Touch to be framed. It was a first rate experience from beginning to end. Working with Bill was a pleasure and the finished prints are perfect. His price for the work was reasonable and fair. Five stars are well earned. Although a true professional, it felt more like I was working with a good friend.”

“I have helped Kristen with transporting art and installations for clients. What stands out most to me, and why I feel she is fortunate to have so many repeat clients, is the genuine and authentic care she has for her clients. Specifically for a NYC client and recent installation, I witnessed how she emanates trustworthiness and competence, with enthusiasm and care for others sprinkled in. It’s very clear - and real - how she puts the needs of her clients above all else.”
“Great local art store. I purchased art online and then saw I could pick it up locally. The owner was very friendly and had great communication. I was able to pick up my order that afternoon. Upon arriving, everything was 50% off. So I browsed his great selection and found lots of additional art to purchase. Thoroughly recommend. Great prices and great service!”
“Cash bar only. There some food. Great pool tables. The bar tenders are amazing! There Dark Tattoo down stairs which is a fantastic group of guys. Check out other peoples art while playing pool. Its the place to be”
“My family went to an art opening here and loved every minute of it. The building is interesting, and the art was compelling. So many artists' work was on display. There is even an elevator so my mother could get upstairs safely.”
“We attended a Gala at the GEH. It was absolutely amazing. The interior was beautiful and set up was really nice. Recommend if you are having an elegant evening event.”
“Stopped in while visiting friends in NY. Something that stuck out to me immediately was how thoughtful the curation was... turn of the century pieces alongside contemporary work... made the experience really interesting and engaging. Really loved the quality and craftsmanship of the work on display, and the team was super welcoming and helpful while I was peppering them with questions :)”
“I accidentally broke the glass on an antique picture frame of a bird made out of feathers. Gave Roz the measurements over the phone. When we tried to set the glass into the frame it was too long by 1/8". I measured wrong by not allowing at least a 1/8" clearance on each side. Roz said no problem and trimmed it to the proper length for a good fit. Thanks, Roz, for your help and good nature. Tony”
