The first time I visited the Goodwill store in Webster I was living in ROC; an RTS bus driver suggested I check it out. An avid searcher for used CDs (from the '70s mostly), I was disappointed. Now that I live in Webster and live just a short bus ride down the road, I visit frequently (on Wednesday, senior discount day). My last visit highlighted the negatives about this location I had been trying to ignore. The store was dirty; for one, there were several stretches of flooring that not only needed to be swept but needed to be mopped as well. The CD section has always been hit or miss; this time there were several Xmas themed offerings (not my thing) scattered throughout. Why weren't they assembled together with some sort of signage to encourage purchase at this time of the year? Almost all the items in the various sections were jumbled up, a usual state of affairs. I gave up trying to navigate the bookshelves. What was most disappointing was the incredibly low inventory on the shelves devoted to dinnerware and glassware (could be the result of predatory resellers swooping in or donations falling off or...); this has become more and more of an issue for me, an avid (but economical) collector of Syracuse china. (I also really dislike all Goodwill stores bundling dinnerware, thus refusing to sell a single item to us eclectic buyers.) As sites for Goodwill stores in general have noted, prices have risen, sometimes a lot and sometimes inappropriately. The one definite bright spot is the staff, always pleasant and always helpful. I will continue to shop (and occasionally donate) at this location but not as often and with lowered expectations.

I've TRIED to buy things here on 2 seperate occasions now. Both times I've been told I could not purchase at least one, if not more of the items because they were not "properly" price tagged. Why do they have signs designating general pricing then if everything must be tagged individually?? I was told "It can't be priced until tomorrow" and the manager would do nothing about it. This last time I stood in line for over 20 minutes with one single item just to be denied the sale. HUGE waste of time and they were quite rude about it. I will not be back to this location ever again.

I enjoy shopping here. Friendly management and never know what you may find! Hunt it up if you’re shopping in the area?

Prices are ridiculous for mostly broken or greatly used equipment. They try and charge top dollar for things that don't even work or in bad condition. Won't donate or shop here. Zero stars..

We live out of state and come here to visit our son 3 or 4 times a year. We love to go to the thrift stores as well. But I will NEVER set foot in the Webster store again!! Two trips in a row I was not allowed to purchase an item because it HAD NOT BEEN PRICED!! Is that the customer's fault?? The same rude woman, claiming to be the manager, said there was nothing she could do. Then what good is she? There should always be someone available to correct such matters for the customer immediately. Obviously, I was not going to be there in 24 hours when the items were supposed to be priced. Poorest Customer's Service I've seen anywhere!! Don't waste your time. You'll just be disappointed , and treated rudely by the ineffectual "Manager!"NEVER AGAIN!!

The respect here it’s absolutely horrible the manger practically locked me in the store was very rude and falsely accused me of stealing she would not let me put the store and she had the worst attitude I’ve ever seen. Very disappointed with this place will not be coming back EVER

Always find good stuff here. I donate alot as well. Great drive through to dump things off. The employees are always nice. Inside they could improve the stale scent in the store...use some fabreeze "air" spray. Good place to thrift shop tho.

I purchased a love seat, thinking I could get it home. When I realized it wouldn’t fit I tried to return it but they refused, even though it had never left the building. Apparently they offer no returns for anything. Maybe that’s the norm in the area, it’s not the case where I come from, but you’d think they could have at least warned me when I bought it. I had to donate it back to the store. I’d rather they give it away for free to whomever else wants it.They were nice about it, but it’s ridiculous not to return something that hasn’t left the store.

This place is not decent. The managers and most workers are just mean and not considerate. Prices are really high for items in horrible condition. :(

I was just shopping for a couple of things, pot holders and oven mittens, but I wandered back to the glassware department and spotted something I have been looking for, for over 15 years...an Italian Biscotti cookie jar! I swear it is brand new, and what I would have paid $75 for, was only $3.99 !!

It's OK it's an average store for the charity. Not the best but not the worst. We can usually find several things when we visit. There are always a few areas that are junked up and detracts from the overall appearance. Staff is usually friendly.

Very poor customer service. I used to love going there until I was refused a sale twice once because a price tag was not on the item so I was told to come back the next day and the item would be priced in the morning and when I showed up the item was magically gone. The second time I found a item in the bottom of a display with a price tag on it only to be told by a rude associate that it was not for sale because it was being used to hold the display up. I told the associate I wanted to purchase the item but she responded saying I was unable to purchase because the price tag was a year old which makes no sense. I told her I would pay ten dollars more for the item and before I knew it she was grabbing the item out of my hands. So disappointed in the lack of professional they treat their customers with. Will not be going back.

Prices are high and when other Goodwill store offer discounts by the color of the price tag the Webster location does not. It’s odd that the good stuff rarely makes it to the floor. I don’t feel there is equality with merchandise.
