I'm living in NY temporarily so this gym is the most convenient one for me to go to for the time being. It's just like an other Esporta, clean, basic equipment, and it gets the job done.The 2 stars is due to the front desk employee who closed on Wednesday, April 17th. I've never witnessed such a rude front desk employee in my life. She was going around to people, awkwardly hovering over them and interrupting their sets to let them know the gym was closed. The lights hadn't dimmed yet, which means it wasn't even 5 minutes until closing time yet. Everyone was looking around at each other like "what's her problem." I was finishing my last set a couple minutes before closing time and she proceeds to yell at me mid-set. Thankfully, I had my headphones in so I couldn't make out exactly what she was saying, but it was obvious she was raising her voice at me since I could hear bits and pieces through my headphones. As soon I finished my set, she says "get out now we're closed." I had words for her but I bit my tongue and just laughed. I used to be a district manager for a large gym chain on the West Coast and if I ever witnessed one of our employees speak to paying members in that manner, they'd be fired on the spot. Bare minimum, written up, if HR wouldn't let me fire them.Esporta doesn't have an internal member review/feedback system in place, so I had to resort to here. Take what you want with this information.

This place is awful, not only they have false advertisement but also lack of humanity. Pool hasnt been working since December and is one of the reasons i joined. On 3/28/24 i got hurt while showering causing me a trip to Urgent care with 16 stitches and the night shift barely had any first aid supplies, i had to use mostly paper towels and a tiny gauze they provided to help with the bleeding. Incident report was filed and manager still havent contact to even check on me. Sent an email requesting cancellation on 3/29/24 and noone has answer yet. Called and spoke to Brian to cancel over the phone and even after he remembered the incident and me telling him i couldnt drive due to my head injury,he still insisted i had to go in person to cancelled. After i risk it and drove myself to the gym, all he did was print out a form that he then told me to mail. Big false advertising, filthy place not even providing wipes to clean after you used the machines so you can just imagine the amount of germs there. Save yourself some trouble and dont go there. I needed to leave one star for reviewing but they deserve none .

Esporta absolutely freaking stinks lol. They take ur money while they let the place rot. I don't even blame the employees. For the most part they have always been kind to me and are most likely under paid and treated like dirt. The truth is that esporta exists for the sole purpose of taking the lower class and riff raffs money and keeping them out of LA fitness (the nicer gyms owned by the same company). It's the perfect scam and it's such a shame to see older folks and people who just want be healthy fall for it. Dirty, unprofessional and everything's broken all the time. Normally I would say "you get what you pay for ?♂️" and leave it at that, but this place just takes and takes while it just gets worse everyday. Support a local gym, go to a nicer gym or even go somewhere that's at least clean like planet fitness. Whatever you do, take the negative reviews seriously and go somewhere else. Highly recommend legends 24/7 in webster.

The only complainers are people who strictly use the pool or people who hate being around other people. Always a friendly environment, very accommodating staff though the cancellation process can be tricky. Altogether great gym!

Small, dirty, outdated, limited classes, unprofessional staff. Honestly looks like they are struggling financially to keep the place up to date. Planet Fitness is a world class gym in comparison.

POTENTIAL GYM MEMBERS BEWARE!!! BRIAN THE MANAGER IS EITHER A LIAR OR INCOMPETENT!!!The manager Brian over there is a character to say the least. Considers himself a salesman but can’t be a great one if you have to consistently lie about the product. Plenty of places with terrible management worthy of a bad review but this will be my first. Tried canceling my account within a week of starting the membership due to work relocation, which that potential was discussed previously with Brian. Called Brian and was informed it was canceled yet was still charged the annual fee a week later. Called Brian again and was told I’d be called back by corporate the following week to get it taken care of. Never was called. Called Brian again and was told I’d be called back next day. Never was called. Called Brian again and was told I’d be called back in 10 minutes after it was processed. Never was called. Called Brian back and was told it was taken care of and should see refund in 3-5 business days. It’s been 3 weeks and never was refunded and only remembered to check after being notified I was charged for the upcoming months membership dues. So after 5 phone calls with Brian, not only was I not refunded, my account was never even cancelled. Only got taken care of after calling corporate and even then had to pay the cancellation fee that Brian said multiple times didn’t exist. Long story short, if you talk with Brian, assume what’s coming out of his mouth is either a lie or wrong.

When i first joined i was given a tour including the pool and spa area, wasn't told they would be closed in December. I am still paying the same rate as i was before with less benefits. Never enough handles for cable machines, staff is constantly harassing my guest to join. (Why would they join when i pay $40 a month and have an unlimited guess pass and we always come together?) i could go to PF and we could both have a black card with massages and tanning beds for the price i pay for 1 membership here, only thing esporta has anymore to keep people coming is the free weights. Can't even pose for photos anymore because staff decided to address the few negative reviews on shirtless people posing, instead of multiple negative reviews about the pool, equipment, etc.

I joined the gym almost a year ago and signed up for the personal trainer. In that time I have had three different trainers at two locations, one quit abruptly and the other two were great. The facilities are good though it can be difficult to use some of the machines due to the amount of people at the time. The big problem I have is that I have been trying to get out of the trainer contract, which I should be able to buy out of at 50% of what’s left. I’ve had 4 conversations already and they charged me for another month instead of the buyout. They told me ahead of time I’d be fine, which I wasn’t and now whoever they are emailing isn’t even bothering to respond to the cancellation emails. What kind of business is this? I may have to cancel my membership if this continues.

Gym has take serious decline over the past year, pool is closing, equipment broken not fixed, Sauna always broken and needs benches and thermostat replaced. Bathrooms are gross and always need to be cleaned. Let alone teens taking over the place not putting equipment back and hanging out not lifting.

Before I begin, they should fired Bryan the manager, I just came out of the office and he have me standing up in front of him for about 5 minutes he didn't had the decency of ask my to sit down, I told him I wanted to cancel my membership and he asked me why, I say I had an horrible situation happening to me this morning with Matthew the ffront desk guy, and he never asked me what happened he said oh well if you want to cancel that's okay...wow unbelievable.I forgot to mention I'm referring to the Esporta in Webster, it's the worst of the worst. Im extremely disappointed about this gym, they're extremely rude , they don't greet us when first walking inside the gym.They have this particular guy that works there like cleaning up the place he's so creepy he's always looking at us ladies in a very wrong way, he makes me feel so uncomfortable, I have complained about him but they never did anything about it because he's still harassing me every single time.Today is January 10th, 2024 I usually sing in through my phone app, I have been doing this for over 3 years now, this morning when I went by the entrance the guy at the front office his name is Matthew he was screaming at me you have to sign in you have to do it now but he was really out of control, I kept trying to explain that I always do it on my phone but he didn't want to hear me. I couldn't work out I was shaking I went home crying after this horrendous experience.Now I'm cancelling my membership because I know that they won't do anything and this horrendous person will still be there like nothing happened.I just can't keep going thereI'm going back to Planet fitness, and I Don't recommend this place it's horrible.

The showers , locker room and sauna are usually dirty and for the past several months the showers are luke warm, apparently they have been waiting for a heater for months

The esporta at Webster is terrible. The saunas are never on and when you complain they say I’m basically lying. They take forever to fix the machines and there is no wifi so I have phone troubles.
