Petsmart is a large store that carries everything from pets to plants and then some. This Petsmart location is inside Webster Plaza, and it's just like all the other stores named Petsmart around the country. This location is well stocked and maintained, but with the number of people that come in, you may be waiting in the checkout line longer than you'd like. This is a pet friendly store, and they allow you to bring your cats and dogs inside to browse. They have a pet grooming area that is a big hit with customers who don't like to do the upkeep and grooming on their own. The fish are great but a bit pricey, but they do have a 2 week grace period if some die, but you must show proof of receipt and bring in the body for proof. There doesn't seem to be much staff here, but if you need something, there's someone that can help you, it just might take a little bit if the checkout is packed. There is an area that holds cats for adoption, but you must pay 100 dollars, and they need to verify where you live. I will rate this store 4 stars because it has everything you'd need, albeit a bit pricey overall.

We went to go look at a specific cat for adoption today and our experience was very standoffish. The lady Judy that was helping us 1) didn’t acknowledge us at all until we got another employee and 2) did not take us seriously. Extremely standoffish and treated us like we were stupid. We know that adoption is a serious process and we came in with the intention of looking at cats for adoption but treating us like we are incompetent of having an older cat it makes us feel really bad. Never coming back to this place again for adoption services. I understand putting time and effort into these cats but be a little nicer about it and be open minded.

Horrible service. I went there today to buy a parakeet and the woman that works there older with glasses said I couldn’t buy a bird unless I bought a cage which I already own a cage . Not only that but very rude left me talking. I tried to speak to another employee at the same store the guy at the cash register and say something about my experience and said he didn’t have time and oh well if I had a complaint. Worst experience at this place .

My first time with my 10 month old puppy Pomeranian when I scheduled I was told 1 1/2 hours. When I brought him in, I was advised three hours. I dropped him off at three and picked him up at 6:30 and I was disappointed in the lack of Concern for my time that the business was overbooked that I paid $82 plus $17 tip my pup weighs 6 pounds and it was just a disheveled chaotic place when we walked in. I will not return for grooming.

My favorite part about this location is when the store manager watches me as if I’m a thief regardless of the fact I make more money than he sees in a day. Simply trying to find my dog a special shampoo that his skin can only tolerate & he stands by me eyeing me.

Associate Jackie was very unprofessional and was very rude I felt out of place because I'm spanish oriented she kept mumbling something under her breath and kept looking at me a weird way .. other than her I had a nice visit

Unable to complete Obedience training for a reactive dog. Didn't give me any help and pretty much said don't come to the second class if my dog continues to bark at the other dogs. No help or training advice on how to help my dog participate. Unable to finish course and felt unwelcome.

Went to this store tonight for some tropical fish…. There were literally no customers in the store yet it took 15 minutes for someone to come help us after we asked the cashier. The store was trashed. Empty holes on shelves everywhere, no recovery of product, animal habitats were disgusting, there was garbage and dog urine all over the floor. All of the betta fish were marked 75% off on a folding table next to a sloppy sign that read “no one with a big enough aquarium has bought us yet”. What?! This store has gone WAY downhill. Plenty of other pet stores to shop that aren’t so slummy. Avoid at all costs.

Had a scheduled appt for photos with Santa. There were 20 people in line and the store wasn’t honoring the appointments that people made ahead of time. We would have to wait in line for 30+ minutes, so we left, disappointed.

I recently adopted two kittens from the adoption center at PetSmart on Holt rd. I took the kittens to the vet to be checked out and the vet came out and said they were both infected with panleukopenia. Which is a highly contagious virus in cats, mostly kittens. It is very very hard to treat. The vet said it makes coronavirus look weak. The other cats that were at the adoption center most likely have the virus too.
