I took my dog in for grooming and dropped her off. Later I received a call that my dog had a hook under her skin inside her mouth. They took her and the cage door the hook was on to the on premise pet hospital where she was sedated without my knowledge. The doctors there actually had to tell the groomers to call me. When I arrived to the pet hospital a young girl from pet smart greeted me and told me what happened. No apologies and that's the last I saw anyone from Pet Smart.

Called ahead and was told I could bring my dog in for a nail trim with no appointment. I show up and was told that I would have to come back later bc someone was on lunch. I came back and was told that I needed an appointment. Make up your mind! Will never come back ever!! Go to County Max for your animal needs

Rarely would i be bothered or care enough to come home, call Pet Smart Corporate Office AND write a review for my exoerience!! While shopping at the store this afternoon, an older woman and I struck up a lovely conversation about cats:) I helped her carefully put 4 cases of canned food, by flavor in her cart. Upon arriving at the register, she was quite dismayed that the only cashier was taking her carefully placed, same flavor cans out of the box, making rows of 4 each, with the upc labels all lined up. He then just tossed the empty box aside. I could see she was upset and joined in. I said "You DO NOT have to take out EACH can. Each box has the same flavor! Ring up 1 can x's 24." No ma'am he replied. Corporate policy requires EACH can to be INDIVIDUALLY scanned. Did I need to remind you she had 100 cans!!!!! As the line obviously grew longer, the cashier called for backup. The next gentleman to cash out customers, turned out to be the manager. I reinterated what was going on at the 1st checkout, and he was adamant that that indeed was corpoate policy. Just so ya'll know, when I called Corporate to inquire of this nonsensical, zero common sense policy, the gal in customer service AGREED with me and said she would file a complaint and let the powers that be look in to it. Such lack of common sense, and clear waste of time and register tape will certainly give me pause to shop that store again.

Horrible customer service. I always go in there and can’t find a price or anyone to give me a price check. Waited 15 minutes waiting in line on 9/17 because cashier was waiting on something for another customer and couldn’t ring me up in the meantime. Made me wait, didn’t acknowledge me or apologize and then mumbled something under his breath as finally a second cashier opened up. Who then had to type in all the canned cat food bar code numbers because her scanner didn’t work. Where’s the manager around that place anyway!?

The vet in here doesn’t care about the animals at all, they’re awful, the first thing they recommend is putting down an animals instead of doing their job. I wouldn’t ever recommend bringing a pet here. Find a better place that actually will help your animals !!

What a great store! The staff for Wayne County Humane Society are outstanding. As were the Petsmart staff. Everyone made our visits today so nice.

Please, it's okay that they have older people working, but they can place them in other areas and not at the cash register. the process is very slow.

All the folks at the Webster Petsmart grooming and Vet care have been great for our dog Macey since day one of her being in our family. I was turned away for our grooming appointment at 8 AM because of heart murmer (level 4 ) ...very disappointed ! We have had her groomed several times since the diagnoses of the murmer. I do understand the care of the pet is the reason for the policy. Why not cover this policy when the appointment is made instead of at the store. Macey is stressed on the way there, I have taken time off work...I have lost income. There seems to be a lack of simple communication between Grooming and Vet services. I understand that Vet services rents space from the store...it only serves the pet and pet owners best if Vet and Grooming share information when needed. Today was a two star day, otherwise a 4.5 star history.

I don’t like to leave bad reviews but this place was so bad that I HAD to leave a review.Worst absolute customer service I have ever had. I went in to do an even exchange for an item and the cashier (female with longe dark hair working at 930 am on 5/21/23) was nasty from the moment I stepped up to the counter. I had wondered why the guy in front of me looked so unhappy when he walked away from the counter and now I know.I said good morning- no response, just a nasty look from her. Then I told her why I was there, again, no response. Heaven forbid I ask her any questions about the exchange. Her answers were forced, sharp and accompanied by an eye roll. Keep in mind, the item was new, tags on and accompanied by a receipt. She acted like being there was a chore. (My 16 year old has better manners and people skills than her!)I would not leave my pets here becauseI hope she doesn’t work with animals. They don’t have a voice to speak up if they are treated badly.Needless to say, I will NOT be returning to this store. I am embarrassed for management because this is who they have acting as the face of their store. (She was the only cashier working). Oh, and I called to talk to someone and was told, “ we have a kind of emergency”and then hung up on. Ridiculous!I come from working with real emergencies…you don’t answer the customer service phone if it’s a true emergency. My guess is that it was that same cashier trying to keep herself out of trouble.Petsmart, do yourself a favor and put her in the back where people don’t have to deal with her. There’s no shortage of pet supply place around the area and online. Customers don’t need your business and won’t return if they are treated so poorly.

i love petsmart and they’ve always been so friendly, today i opened my mail to a valentine’s day letter from them saying how they appreciate me and my fur friends, it made my day and was so thoughtful of them. i can’t wait to go back and shop for my fur babies.

Was able to pick up cat food and litter. To my surprise the cat food was buy 12 get 3 free. It was a wni-win for me.
