I was referred to preferred by an agent I was working with. He said great things. Unfortunately, I’ve been chasing Chuck down for literally months now for a quote with constant broken promises by him that he’ll have it “tomorrow”, “after the weekend”, etc. I’d prefer (pun intended) to have him just simply tell me he’s not interested in working with me then string me along.

I was a first time home buyer and now know that I went into the buying process unprepared with how much logistics go into buying a home. I am very happy with the service I received from Mark and Jason. They answered emails immediately, they called me frequently to update me and make sure I understood each situation step by step and were certainly patient with me. I would highly recommend purchasing a home with a loan from preferred mortgage.

A giant scam. Do yourself a favor and use someone else. We had a very bad experience. If you so choose to work with them make sure you read the documents they provide because many many mistakes get made and make sure everything is in writing. This Chuck guy told us that the lender would pay them and we wouldn't see that cost. Well when it came down to it there was a $4k broker fee that we had to pay...why? Because that's the only way he could get the lowest rate if we paid them instead of the lender. He never told us this, just did it on his own.That is just one of many examples of the frustration when dealing with this company. I have purchased 3 homes and would go straight to a lender. Period. End of story.
