I started as a member of WCTA many years ago before it became Reliant. They have always been great. A few months ago, there seemed to have been some turnover and there were no familiar faces. I had a couple of quite unpleasant interactions. However in the past 6 weeks, we have had nothing but fantastic customer service and financial advice. I want to give a special shoutout to Kayla and Sheldon. Thank you for helping us get through this!!!

Avoid this financial institution at all costs. The employees are some of the worst people you will ever have to deal with in your life. From the loan officer I met with originally to the branch manager, Kelly, whom I had the misfortune of meeting at the end. Each and every experience with these people was not only unpleasant but unbelievably time consuming.

Reliant Federal Credit Union is among the worst financial institutions I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Avoid them at all costs. I've done business them for over 30Years and they have gone progressively downhill since then. How is it even possible to require another person's signature to remove your name from a joint account? What if you've had a falling out with the other party and they won't sign? The potential for them to ruin you financially is huge. Furthermore, whoever decides their financial policies is an absolute moron or a group thereof more accurately. I went in quite a few years ago with several thousand dollars in cash to apply for a secured loan to rebuild my credit. I was denied. HOW does that make any sense? You are risking literally nothing and losing business in the process. The administrators must have forgone business school and attended ? college.

I have been a member of Reliant for 10 years. Irondequoit & Webster are my most familiar branches. I have had mortgages, business accounts, HELOC, lines of credit, etc. Every employee treats me well and goes out of their way for me.

UPDATE: I now, unfortunately, understand the number of negative reviews. Do NOT trust Reliant with your money or business - at least until Sue Cronenworth retires from the organization, or unless you like having no access to your accounts, no access to a debit card and no access to online banking. Apparently providing those basic services is a risk to them? In any case, I have had nothing but an awful experience following my ironic positive experience, and am pending resolution with legal counsel and the NCUA. I would advise anyone to think twice before opening an account/loan/service here, and for those that continue to bank here, run! I met with a banker at a real bank today who took care of me and my needs, and assured me that they will not act in a similar way that Reliant has chosen to. Very disappointing, especially as a small, local CU.———————Christi is great - and so far, Reliant has proven to be a CU that truly cares for its members’ success. I’m truly confused by the number of negative reviews!

Terrible online banking, Manager Kelly couldn't be bothered to call me after the assistant messaged her several times. Customer Service is awful, professionalism is non existent and God forbid you go inside this branch, it will take 25 minutes for 1 transaction. Do not waste your time nor trust this bank with your money

I've never seen more than one teller serving walk in customers, even on busy Friday afternoons. They are always friendly though, and I know it's not their fault. This is a direct result of poor management. Expect to wait an unreasonable amount of time to make any type of transaction at the front counter. 2 weeks ago I waited over 20 minutes to cash 2 checks. I would never join this credit union and only visit due to the fact I can make deposits into my bank account through this branch.

Not educated enough on their own policies. Made my dying mother come inside so we could close her account and get her money when all the teller had to do was tell us we could use drive up or get a supervisor.

Friendly staff, great Credit Union, easy access in and out , drive thru and 24 hour atm. Minute off the 104 highway.
