About Ruff Day Pet Resort
Ruff Day Resort is a locally owned dog care facility that offers a range of services to keep dogs happy and healthy. The resort features over 8,000 square feet of inside space and a large 5,800 square foot backyard, providing a safe and spacious environment for dogs to play and exercise. Separate areas are available for small and big dogs, ensuring proper supervision and comfort. Dogs enjoy structured play, nap times, and outdoor activities where they can run naked—without collars or leashes—in a secure setting.
The resort provides day care, overnight boarding, and training classes, including options for puppies and therapy dogs through RocDog. The staff is caring, attentive, and low in ratio to ensure dogs are properly supervised and loved like their own. They are flexible with hours, including appointments on Sundays, and also offer dog grooming services.
Dog owners appreciate the staff’s dedication, noting their dogs run excitedly to the door and are happy and tired after their stay. Many reviews highlight the staff's understanding of different dog breeds and needs, with personalized care for dogs that get overwhelmed or need special attention. Overall, Ruff Day Resort is praised for its clean facilities, caring staff, and commitment to dogs’ well-being, making it a trusted choice for dog care and training.

Past 3 years we have had our golden retriever stay while we went on vacation and he has had a great time. We love the pictures we get to see on Facebook everyday plus getting to see the report card at the end of the stay. I am glad we found such a close place to home we can trust to send our dog off too.

Oh my goodness! We love Ruff Day! We recently moved out of town and cannot find anything as great as Ruff Day. Lindy misses you all and so do I. RuffDay has a wonderful atmosphere for pet parents and for the pet themselves . It is like a family and they love the pets they care for. Can't say enough good about them.
