Belmont Lake State Park is a beautiful and big park on Long Island, excellent for families, parties, barbecues, and people of all ages. It is very dog-friendly, with great walks for leashed dogs and a dedicated dog park. The park offers a lovely path along the lake for walking and bike riding, alongside playgrounds, clean picnic areas, and toilets. Activities include photography, boat rides, and cool lake paddle boats and canoes. There is an $8 entrance fee. Some visitors note the playground is small and that there can be biting insects, but it remains a lovely place with excellent facilities.

Service was good. Had an event there and the food was good as well. Layout could be challenging for sound reinforcers but nothing you can’t make happen. Enjoy!😎
