Sunrise Tri CLOSED its showroom in December 2022 and closed out its online business with a "retirement sale" through June 2023. Opened in 1955, Sunrise Tri was a complete BICYCLE SHOP, running shop, and swimming shop. ("Tri" is short for "triathlon". Their second sign said "Swim Bike Run.")

Needed new tires and tubes that Sunrise had in stock at a great price. Shipping was amazingly fast (and free) as well so I'm a very happy camper. When I have more time I'm going to browse their selection of other products (cycling shoes!) as well that I came across and looked good :)

Sunrise Tri is a fantastic store. They are so good, as both Frank and Cathy are super helpful and knowledgeable. They take their time with you to explain things you may have questions about, and generally they are just so pleasant, you want to deal with them. This is quite unusual and not my experience at some other stores. Customer service has seemed to have gone out the window. It's nice that it hasn't at Sunrise Tri. Very refreshing! I highly recommend this store.

I'm a beginner to high end road/racing bikes. I went to Sunrise Tri as per the suggestion of a fellow rider/friend, but much more experienced rider than I. My experience thus far has been excellent. Dealing w Frank and getting very accurately measured and fitted for my new bike was an excellent experience. Frank is very knowledgeable and shares all of his hard earned knowledge, answers all your questions, explains everything and he is very petsonable

Fast shipping. From the time I ordered my brakes to the time they were delivered was less then 4 days. They sent email updates about my order during every step. Very much recommended and appreciated.

Absolutely fantastic experience start to finish. This shop is a wealth of knowledge with friendly service. I went in looking for a new road bike after riding my Synapse for the past 6 years. Frank recommended the trek Emonda SL7 based on a few quick measurements and, after procuring the bike, Frank expertly fitted it to me using Retul technology- which took a couple of hours. He then guided me on which computer was worth investing in as well as cadence/power pedals, what a great investment these have been. I am THRILLED. The bike rides like a dream, my average mph has already significantly improved and the bike is comfortable. I can’t recommend Frank and his wife (who helped fit me with a new helmet and some new gear) enough. Wonderful people with a fantastic business. Thank you!

I had such a wonderful experience at Sunrise Tri!! I walked in with a stubborn tire that was difficult to get on the wheel, Frank was able to assist me on the spot. I would highly recommend this bike shop, the staff are so personable and friendly, willing to answer any questions about your bike.

Sunrise Tri never disappoints. Setting up the appointment with Anne was super easy and quick. Got stuck in traffic on the way to drop my bike off and Frank waited for me to get there despite it being after closing time.He took special interest and care to make sure what I needed was done right. Though the list of things that needed to get done wasn’t brief, they had it ready to be picked up in 24 hours and it cleaned up great! It’s like a spa day for your bike. Not sure why anybody would want to go elsewhere….there’s a reasons they mostly have 5 star reviews.

9 years ago I started triathlon and purchased my first Tri bike from Frank .I’m very lucky to have found my second Tri bike at Sunrise Tri! The (almost)exact one I’ve been waiting for for over 4 months.Had the fitting this morning before flying back to Florida. Frank’s the best Retul fitter on Long Island and probably anywhere!
