Had a great experience there my transmission was slipping. I went to a different transmission shop. They told me $5000 to repair my transmission. I went and speak to Bill bill discovered I had no fluid in my transmission after the fluid was added . I drove the truck around. I haven’t had any problem With it. Amazing service thank you Bill.

Excellent transmission repair shop in West Hempstead,Strong Island.Bill and Gary are true professionals.I have entrusted two of my vehicles to them for service and they took real good care of me.I recommend them if your vehicle needs expert transmission work.Automatic or manual,transaxles and related systems.Fair pricing for a solid repair.They are in business for 55 years.That kind of longevity is rare today.

They replaced my transfer case on my 2007 Tundra, I told them I was going to sell it after the repair but after the repair it ran so dam good I held on to it, this review is 20 months since the repair these guys are very knowledgeable would definitely recommend them, my go to spot when its beyond me thanks Gary and staff you guys rock!!!

I want to Thank Gary (owner) for doing a FANTASTIC overhaul on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Transmission! I put on approximately 800 miles since I picked it up, and let me tell you this trans is dialed-in Perfectly!
Gary and his TEAM are TOP NOTCH in my opinion!
PS: I did a lot of research (about 2 months) prior to making my decision. I drove about 60 miles away from my home, but well worth it!

Phenomenal experience from AAA-1 Transmission. Was in a pitch on Saturday with my transmission and I needed a part for my transmission. Instead of running to a transmission supplier, I opted to call AAA-1 Transmission. They sold me the part I need without hesitation and I was back on the road that evening.They even gave me expert advice without me asking. I’ve been rebuilding transmission since a kid and I’m 51 years old now so their advice was on the money. My brother-in-law uses their shop for transmission overhauls which entails his shop in Long Island and Lake George. He never had a problem. I also saw that do fleet and municipal work. Had transmission done 1year ago, idle was never smooth. Brought back after a Jaguar mechanic told me there was a problem with the gears shifting, didn't like how engine was running. Said to bring back to transmission guy- Bill. Bill told me there was nothing wrong with transmission except motor mount was broken. He lied. Paid a lot of $$$ & he did not stand behind his work. If you can avoid this place.
