Good place to stay of you're an RIT student, amenities are well kept up with and staff are super friendly. Like anywhere it has little bumps that get fixed rather quickly by their maintenance team. Only enjoyable experiences so far!

Not worth your money, you're better off finding a unfurnished house to rent. They provide you with the most basic utilities, walls are unbefittingly thin (you can hear everything that happens in the house), and all the furniture are incredibly cheap (especially their steel chairs). You also have to pay a mandatory non-refundable insurance fee every month in addition to rent, which doesn't cover damages. I was charged an exorbitant amount of money for some minimal paint damage from the wall due to them using some of poorest quality paint that couldn't withstand basic led light strip adhesive removal.

I've been living here for two years now and have signed on for another year. This place is excellent! The staff is friendly and professional. The apartments and grounds are beautiful, quiet, and safe!

I have lived at the Lodge for almost two years and already signed a lease for a third. The staff is very friendly and they do lots of give aways & activities. I love all the events & competitions they put on for residents. Parking is great and the neighborhood is very peaceful. I live in a 4 bedroom unit; I was very pleased moving into a super clean bedroom with nice furnishings and my own bathroom. The view from my room is beautiful in the summer. The clubhouse is very nice, with lots of study space, free printing, free coffee/tea, and their mail system is cool. I see people walking their dogs all the time, but I never hear them bark even though I'm so close to the mini dog park. The fitness center is pretty nice and the pool & hot tub are amazing. The cost is high, but 12 months here is still much less expensive than 9 months in RIT's single bedroom apartments. The drive to campus is less than 5 minutes, so it's very convenient if you have a car. I always recommend the Lodge to RIT students, it is perfect for me! I am so glad I chose it over campus housing.

The Lodge is great, but unfortunately there’s one glaring thing in the way from earning them five stars, even six if that were possible. Everyone there is very nice, very kind, the property is modern, clean, a premium choice for housing in the area. But it’s expensive. That’s not my issue, although that is an issue on its own. My issue is I had a bad roommate experience. This roommate is a pig, dirty, selfish, rude, and overall makes me very uncomfortable. I’ve made it clear to the property management of the issue and why its necessary that I move, but not only was the property unaccommodating, their own policies made it even more difficult to get away from this roommate from hell. It’s not been a good experience at all, and I’m paying a fortune, just to have a bad experience. I get that they are a paying customer and I get that cash is king in the world of business, but I feel screwed over by the property. It’s inferential that living situations would be with other students, and that I would have given consent to live with a non student. My current roommate is not a student, and had I known this prior, I would have chosen not to live with them. Asking if a tenant is comfortable living with a non student is common policy at The Lodge, and frankly common courtesy. It’s also written into their contracts that non students must be able to provide tenants to fill an entire unit. Both of these policies were broken, I’ve made this clear to the property, and as I’ve explained before, it’s their lack of taking accountability or even making any sort of effort to rectify the situation that really bugs me. Buyer beware.

The best Management ever! They are very responsive to everything and most important they are very friendly. Truly speaking I don't have any negative things to say about the management and the maintenance crews! They always clean the roads and sidewalks after the snow and in a place like Rochester, it's really important. I needed to move in early, so the management allowed me to move in early even before starting my lease term. I am not comfortable with a yellow light. When I told them that they changed the whole thing (not just the bulb, the whole platform for that). They always tried to make my living comfortable. I wish I didn't have to move out! Highly recommend this place. Worth every penny!

I have spent 2+ years in three different apartments at the Lodge and all were great! I lived in a 4-bedroom and two 2-bedroom units. The quad was a bit smaller per person, but it was still enough room for everyone. The 2-bedrooms are really spacious and both rooms have nicely sized closets and bathrooms. The 2-bed also has more storage space in general which I really liked. I loved the style of the furniture at the Lodge, especially the shelving above the bed.Any issues in the apartment were fixed within 48 hours of putting in a request, and the maintenance team is so nice (shoutout to Steve!). Management is awesome, as well (most are college students)! Each month, the apartment is given an electricity allowance. In my over two years living here I have only gone over the allowance a couple times (for ~$5).I would not consider the Lodge to be a "cheap" or "budget" option, but compared to many other apartments around RIT's campus, the prices are pretty comparable. The amenities are really what make this place worth it. They have an amazing pool and tons of study space and games in the clubhouse. You can get free hot chocolate, and there is a convenient store for snacks and drinks as well. The fitness center is well kept and has new equipment.Like any apartment really, the walls are somewhat thin, but it has never been an issue for me. The community in general is super nice, and very pet friendly!

The Lodge is without a doubt the best off-campus college housing location for RIT. Their pricing is reasonable, especially considering the great amenities and community events. I've had few issues with staff in the 3 years I lived here and they're always polite and respectful. The maintenance staff specifically goes above and beyond to make sure residents are taken care of and work orders are resolved in a timely manner. Most of my interactions were with a maintenance worker named Steve who was an absolute blast to be around. He would always chat with us while fulfilling our work orders and always waved when he saw us on the street. It really made The Lodge feel like home. If you ever need a maintenance request I highly suggest asking if Steve is available.Other than that, the community is well-kept and the atmosphere is perfect for college students. If you have an option of where to live, choose The Lodge.

Overpriced and will overcharge you for utilities. Nice space in kitchen but cheaply furnished. Problems with bugs and spiders no matter how much you clean and keep food sealed. Maintenance seems to only provide surface help and not get to the root cause of issues. Management wants to keep you quiet with a partial refund on utility overcharges. Nice neighborhood but tiny space. Damage charges for nonexistent issues that I had to inquire about for proof. Please consider before moving here.

The lodge is a solid 3.5-4 star place if you have the money to throw at it and own a car. However, the sheer cost of the apartment and the unreliability of bus transit (and overall just really poor schedule. why does it do a cleaning break at 11AM OF ALL TIMES?!) to and from RIT makes it not worth the price. Maintenance staff are great and all that, but after 2-3 months you can tell how much these apartments want to wring you for cash. The amenities are not worth the extra money, go somewhere else.

I have lived at The Lodge for about 8 months now. I continue to be impressed by the staff and facilities. The apartments are beautiful, safe, well maintained, and quiet. Any small issues I've had they have responded to in a timely and professional manner. I highly recommend living here.

Hands down the best place you could ever stay at as RIT student. It is very close to campus and the house was super clean and new when I moved in. The gym is well-equipped and the office amenities are the COOLEST! Also, the maintenance people (my man Steve), and front office are so pleasant and outgoing. They are willing to go out of their way to accommodate you. Shout out to Martin for always being helpful, resolving all my problems and paying very good attention to tenants. I wish I had signed with them during my freshman year rather than wasting money on other trashy complex apartments. Highly recommended!!

The rooms are good, the clubhouse and facilities are good. You will like your room and house if your roommates turn out to be good. Just hope that your RIT program conforms to standards - if it has a different start and end date, you WILL end up homeless.I subleased from someone else - I was rendered homeless after the 31st of July. I had classes for another 14 days! The Lodge did nothing to help me out.

The Lodge is literally the best place I've lived. Heather and Danielle were always great to work with and fixed any and all problems I had while living there. They made my time enjoyable, and with school and everything it was nice to not have to worry about where I was living. The events they had were always fun, and I met some great people. Highly Recommend

Edit: manager reached out to me and was able to work with me on some of the fees which is much appreciated!I had a sublease here in a 4b4b unit for just the summer of 2020. It was just me in the apartment since all other roommates had moved out. The utilities allowance of $40/month per person only covers residents **who currently live there**. I found this out when I was hit with a $100 charge (management had not updated the email associated with the utilities account so I was unaware until the end of my lease). I am very conservative with my electricity and hot water usage, so be aware of surprise charges like this when moving out. Management at the Lodge and at the utilities company were unable and unwiling to work with me on these charges.
