“Excellent and quick service! I made an appointment easily to get my NYS inspection and oil change and they were able to accommodate me within two weeks. Everything was done quickly and I was out within an hour of getting the inspection, oil changed, and fluids changed/refilled. They were super friendly and very knowledgeable, prices very reasonable as well. I’m currently located in the Berkshires but have a car registered in NY, and these guys are indispensable to NY/MA folks!!”

“I’ve lived here 6 years. Only started taking my cars here the last two years. The experience is the best in the area IMO. I often do work on my own cars and have a good idea how long things take. Their labor hours for jobs are fair and the mechanics I’ve talked with are happy to give you the time of day if there are questions or explanations needed. I’ll often source my own parts, sometimes just from Napa down the street, and tires etc from tirerack and they’ve taken all that in stride and accommodated. They will also make you an appointment for inspection and will actually keep it, and have WiFi while you wait. They have failed me for inspection a few times, all those times I can definitely verify they were being honest about actual bad parts that needing replacing. Once they said my rear control arms were bad on my BMW, I was suspect because generally I can feel those being bad - and I had recently rotated my tires and hand tested the control arms for play and didn’t find any. They were happy to put the car back on the lift and show me, when the wheel was on you could definitely wiggle some play in the bushing. I had done my hand inspection with the wheels off, the extra leverage the wheel provided illustrated the play in the bushing. All is to say they have been totally honest and a pleasure to work with and communicate with at reasonable prices. So much better than other places around here.”

“The ABS pump and electronic module failed on my 2010 VW Jetta Turbodiesel, it's a big and expensive job to get at and repair this system. Alan and his crew did a fantastic job, saved me a *lot* of money over dealership repairs, and I think are more knowledgeable on my car's computers than 90% of the dealerships. They had to wait for the parts to be rebuilt by an outside rebuilder, but they were very fast on their side of the job. I am totally pleased, will be giving them my business again!”

They quickly diagnosed and fixed a lighting wiring issue on my Jeep, demonstrating their expertise and pride in their work. Plus, they even offer rides for short distances, which is a great convenience. Outstanding service all around!”
“I needed a mechanic on a day when my regular mechanic was closed, and a friend recommended Pitcher's. Since then, I have been bringing my 2 older, high mileage cars to them. Issues have included a leak in a brake line, radiator leak, hole in exhaust, oil changes---I can say I am very pleased with the service and prices they have provided. Even one time when I was in a bind and they were too busy to take my car, they tried to help me find another garage. So far, I am satisfied with Pitcher's in every respect.”

“Been going to this garage many years with my mom and I I am considered legally blind my mother is disabled also we are not rich we are low income people this garage is very understanding and very friendly staff never had a problem once went today matter of fact and they pointed out something wrong in her car that we didn't even notice and he showed us and now we're not driving the car till we get it fixed and we save up the money his staff is amazing and I highly recommend coming here I found out about them through my ex-girlfriend and her family they've been gone for many years if you're looking for a great place for oil changes car work they do vehicle inspections they do everything they do amazing work and highly recommend them they also sell tires and working with the car that we have now is very rare and they found something wrong with it today like I said and they did not take our money for what they were going to charge us for instead of them doing the work that I was going to pay them for today they said to wait and get the parts that the car needs then come back they are very honest most garages would have taken the money and then had us come back after I never said anything to it was done these people are so honest they warned us in advance and they told us to come back after we take care of that and then they will help us”
