This passport agent the african American gentleman refused to answer my questions after he made me wait on the line for 15 minutes and when i asked him about the passport application then he proceeded to tell me sir i dont have time to explain anything to you im to buzy for you and he said step out the line i have a appointment i dont have time for you and began to swear at me while my toddler is with me now i know why this place has a 1 star review

I had an appointment for the post office today. There was traffic and I was 5 minutes late. The gentleman at the desk said since I’m 5 minutes I had to reschedule. There was literally on one in the post office besides myself and another worker. He said he couldn’t take me because he had other ppl waiting. That was a bad excuse not to help me. I was trying to get my passport. I waited another 10 minutes and yet no one showed up for another appointment!!!! So where are the other people waiting in line ?!?!? Are they ghosts I don’t see

On 6/24/2025 at 5:07 PM at the West Nyack Post Office The big African-American gentleman with the white beard was incredibly rude as I was in the middle of asking him a question about the signature services and he interrupted me telling me I was talking too much as I didn’t finish my question. I will be going to the postmaster and doing a formal complaint about this gentleman as he does not fit the bill as a us postal worker employee and does not represent the USPS.

I would stay away from this place even if it needs to drive 100 miles to the next. The guy behind the counter treated us and our two special needs kids like they don't belong. 4/2/25 3.15 pm.

Drove 1/2 for my appointment since it was the earliest available by weeks. Get there and I’m told the agent was out. Woman said she tried to call the day before. I see a missed call from Nyack. I asked why she did not leave a message. She said mailbox was full. I received at least 3 messages since her missed call. I was offered to come back next day anytime as a walk in. I said I was busy with work and could not come next day, I asked about the day after and was told I had to make an appointment. No consideration at all. Rude and unhelpful. Should have read the reviews before booking.

I went in for my appointment to get my passport. The guy asked me to wait while someone was ahead of me so I went to grab and fill out the passport form & he told me not to. Then when I came up to the counter he said he couldn't take me because I was on time for my appointment but the form needed to be filled out prior to coming. He said they don't do same day appointments and would not wait so I could fill the form out even though it was completely empty after me and I had everything else I needed.

Lucky to have a USPS open on Sunday and later weekday hours. The people that work here are fine, like most USPS locations, just doing the job.

Unpleasant and unrefined.
Overheard an employee tell a Spanish speaking family: “you need to find someone who speaks Spanish to help you because you’re not understanding what I’m saying and you keep filling this out wrong.”
The youngish woman “helping” me was of no help and sarcastically responded to my passport inquires.
