My experience with the tire center left me considering letting my membership expire. How do you offer free flat fix with the purchase of tires and then offer an appointment, a week out, to fix the flat? What am I supposed to do in the meantime? Twice, I had to go spend $30 per visit to have my flat repaired at a flat fix.

Went to the BJ's in Westbury Brush Hollow Rd for tires. Worst possible experience one can imagine. Waited 4 1/2 hrs when people were walking in off the street and being taken. Called customer service to file a complaint and what a waste that was. The store manager called with her nasty attitude I asked for a number for corporate and was told there was none. My membership is due to expire and there is no way I will renew it. No way I'll even use what is left on my membership

This store is poorly run. When I shopped there yesterday, the deli, meat, and refrigirated dairy section of the store smelled like dead body. It was putrid and I almost threw up. Nobody from the store is doing anything about it. So I called NY State Department of Agriculture and Markets to file a complaint. Someone will die from the rotten food sold at this store. If you found anything unsanitory at that store, call 7187222876 to file a complaint.

I just finished trying to return something to this BJs and I'm wondering who is in charge here. It doesn't seem like there is any supervision or management of personnel. 5 people behind the counter and only one of them working. Then when the people on line were getting upset all we got was rude responses. Shopping here is fine , but if you need customer service, forget it!

First off, I tried to pay for a rotisserie chicken last week with no membership and was completely denied unless I paid $55 for a memebership. Today I went if just for the hell of it for Jamaican beef Pattie's and they sold it to me! I used to work there as a cashier. I know they can let u buy what u want but for at a little more money if ur not a member. Today I'm allowed and yesterday I wasn't so good luck trying to figure out their good for nothing policy

I'm really iffy about this BJs . One one hand it was the first one in Nassau county I visited and is bigger I think than the one in Garden City behind the mall . I also have fond memories of visiting this location with my sons , one of whom passed away. Recently however my mother and I visited and she chose to purchase some steaks and when she decided to cook them discovered they had layered the one decent steak over a bunch of freezer burned steaks . The package of steaks was not palatable and was disgusting . I'm really disappointed that they actually had the nerve to put a bunch of nasty, freezer burned steaks in a pack with one decent steak. I don't go there often so when I finally took my mother back they had the nerve to give her a hard time about getting a refund . I won't buy meat from them now especially steaks because I just don't trust it. Other than that I feel you have to pick and choose what you buy here . Some of the perishable items have dates that are far too close to expiration. Some of the items can be purchased elsewhere on sale at a better price . The other location might have to be my go to in the future .

Keep asking my wife to join the club and she has not, because she is Costco club member. I joined the club and I have enjoyed it since. It is close to my house and it is like Costco if not better. It's price and quality is very competitive and very convenient for me. I give him A+ and ***** AH

I'm done!!! Today I threw out $ 20 worth of veggies, organic and non organic. This goes on every week. Cheese also, threw out 2 1/2 bags of grated parm/locatelli. All rotten. No complaining to management is going to change this. Tried several times. Was reimbursed $10 from cheese company. I made them aware of BJs refrigerator issues. We've been sick several times now to to turning food. There are serious rotten food issues here. There's never anybody shopping in the store anymore I'm beginning to wonder why all the same problems I'm having?? I'm out. Will not be buying food from them anymore I will only buy my non-grocery items until my membership is up in May. Did I mention that they have the rudest people working in customer service and at the door. I saw the door person literally abuse an old man about 90. I reported her to Anthony the store manager. Just disgraceful!!!

i have shopped at this location for years . lately i've noticed a change in associates attitudes toward customers from helpful to indifferent to lately outright unprofessional uncaring attitudes. i encountered a store associate who was directing customers for help as an item was mislabeled for a lower price as by their large labeling sign . she rudely asked me to take a picture of the display and the sign. not an offer of i apologize let's see how we could correct the issue, i walked to the back of the store took a picture and the associate left for break and the front supervisor was unaware of the situation. i asked to speak to a store manager and i got Jessica who was just as uncaring about the situation, after listening and in a condescending tone said you can see the sign is above the item but it is not the correct sign for the item. it was for holiday plates not everyday plates. the plates to me looked like they were hanukkah theme . without an apology or even i'll have and associate remove the wrong sign she walked away without even resolving the issue. it's not the 4 dollar difference. it's the attitudes of your employees. possibly difficult customers interaction skills should be something to work on. poor showing Bjs warehouse in Jericho. we will take out business elsewhere

BJs recently built a new location in my area. not only did the build non union, but they brought in out of state workers at far lower wages. BJs wants our business, but they're not willing to invest in the local community

One of the rudest and most racist service , I almost cried when I walked out. I purchased a Groupon for the inner circle membership. To star off, there's no greetings no smiles, she looked like she's annoyed. It's ok I get it. Everybody has difficult days. When she asked for my name. I said ping (which was probably the simplest name) I had to repeat it multiple times and spelled it out for her. Again she rolled her eyes, and asked for my id. I gave her my passport. In Asian culture, we put our family name first and given name last. She literally said, "I asked your name, why you said ping. It's your last name." I would have accepted the question if she asked in a nice way. But she put it in a blame and statement instead of a question, acting as if I don't know English. Still I explained, "in my culture, we put family name first and given name last." No apologies for acting rude, she said "ok" and then pushed me to open a credit card... at the end, she forgot to give me my card. When I reminded her and she gave me the card, I asked about the $55 in coupon which comes with the Groupon membership. I showed her the Groupon. She "explained", it was the $55 in membership fee. Again, act like I don't know English. I went to the description of the Groupon and found reviews that mentioned the $55 worth of coupons. When I showed it to her, again she didn't apologize, just toss me a coupon book off the counter which was different than the coupons listed on the Groupon. I still couldn't believe it happened to me. I never felt this inferior and disrespected. I've been living in the U.S. since I was 16 years old. Yes I have a slight accent (I'm proud of who I am) but trust me I know English. BJ Wholesale, plz upgrade your service and train your employees to respect your customers.
