Store dirty rat dropping on shelves restroom is disgusting. The manager des not speak proper english and was rude.

I was very pleasantly surprised to find the faux leather upholstery that I had been searching for at Joann's. It was the last store that I expected to find it at. I went to that place I originally bought it from a couple of years ago and found that the store no longer existed. Then I drove a distance to an upholstery fabric store that had a large selection but not the right color. On my way home, I called Joann's to see if they had faux leather. I was told that they did and sure enough they had the color I needed. And I thought Joann only had clothing and crafts fabrics!

I was unable to post it before clicking on the star. But this store does not deserve a star ! It used to be a fantastic store, but when we visited yesterday, it was a shock. Half empty shelves, no help on the floor and big cherry on top was the bathroom. Dirty, no toilet paper and piles of garbage on the floor. What a shame ! The commercials show very helpful staff - well, they must be working at another location, not the one on Old country Road in Westbury

One star is too many. Zero stars is what I would like to give as a rating. My order was for 2 different yarns for a sweater whose pattern was on Jaonn's website. One yarn arrived within a week, the second took a month. In the meantime, no communication about the missing second half and Joann's is charging tax on yarn, NYC does not charge tax on yarn or clothing. Eventually when Joann's got back to me, they told me they could not guarantee I would be making clothing. The yarn is from Lion Brand, a big hand knitting company for generations, and I bought it to make a clothing pattern Joann;s advertised !! I absolutely will not pay this tax -- how many other people are they cheating since the state will not collect it from them ? -- and I will never purchase anything from them ever again. I have not had this problem before with any other company in the US that sells yarn. Clothing is the default for hand knitters. I see the comment in another review, "the store is a complete mess," well, no surprise, their customer service is a complete mess too.

I went there to shop on Sunday we arrived at 4:45 store will be closing at 6 on Sunday but the service provider is so rude and we asked about the cutting and she said cutting counter will be closed at 5:30 so we started picking our fabric and suddenly she came and store is closed at 5:00 and she was very rude not accommodating at all so we left the store because store is closing at 6 and she keeps yelling store is closed at 4:55 We did not buy anything we are the only customer there

It’s holiday time twice I went at night the place closes by 5pm. Working people forget shopping. The one time I went around 3 pm the elderly woman cashier had to be 90 and didn’t know how to ring up a gift card. I asked the other employee for help she might have been 80 and that woman was worse. The manager couldn’t be found on the walkie i seriously just needed a gift card for Christmas. The only other location is far out east. I’m all for older people that want to work but this situation was beyond ridiculous. The store needs more workers.

Very very nice experience due to the cheerfulness and helpfulness of the employees most especially appreciated being so close to Christmas. The store was very busy and every employee I encountered was so quick to help me and smiling and pleasant even though they were so busy. ❤️

Every time I try to shop at this store, they're closed for some kind of "emergency." It's the only location remotely close by and I can never even shop there!

I II ordered from their online site over 2 weeks ago. A variety of items. Nothing has arrived and when you try to track all I get is processing. There were two items that said "shipped" but never arrived and no way of tracking. I wrote to customer service at site but again no response Every other company provides updates, not so here. I would never order from this site again. Meanwhile I keep getting e mail from them re their "sales" Perhaps they should spend more effort in fulfilling their standing orders. Once again beware ordering here.

I used to love this craft store as an avid paper crafter and have been coming here for over 10 years. Prices were much better than Michael's. I was sad the Commack location shutdown and I am sure this store will be next. The place is a complete mess, there is barely any help and the store has early closures almost daily. I've been trying to return something for almost 2 weeks now and see signs saying they closed early due to staffing shortages or holiday preparations. I finally caught them open until 6pm this past Saturday to see an extremely long line with one register open. Wasn't worth the $25 return. The female manager is also so rude!

What happened to Joanne’s ?I had shopped here several years ago - it WAS well stocked & orderly. Today, I shopped at the store in Westbury - everything was thrown around ; when I finally found the yarn , most colors of the better brands were out of stock . The store smelled and was not very clean . So sad. I’ll be going somewhere else . Forever !

I am tourist. And about a week I went to Joanns and they treated me very badly. And one of your employees ignored me and told me not to say anything to them. I just wanted to return something because the product that I brought was damaged and they charged me for the return. I don't recommend this place.

The store was filthy. Fabric laying on the floor. Unpacked boxes. 3 employees who didn't know their merchandise. Disgusting. Unhelpful staff. I won't shop there unless it changes, going to try to reach corporate later today.
