“Bright star academy is wonderful! This is my daughter’s second year there and she has improved in all aspects of life. The teachers are extremely attentive and full of creativity with new projects and activities for the kids to engage in. They are also extremely responsive to all questions and full of patience. I highly recommend any child to start their education here.”
“My 2 girls have been going here for the past year and love it. They love their teachers and all the activities they do with them. One of my girls started kindergarten this year and Ms. Jo & Ms. Johnna prepared her for school. She learned so much in their pre-k program. In the morning the girls were always so excited to go to the school they would forget to give us a hug goodbye. They come home daily with arts and crafts and we love seeing them have fun in pics on their Facebook page.”

The facilities are state of the art, including a full indoor playground in the colder months, as well as a full size outdoor playground, separated by age group. “Academic explores is great start for your little ones. I can honestly say since my daughter started going here I noticed a big change in her learning and communication skills. “We have been sending our kids from 2011- 1 daughter and she graduated 2 daughter from 2014 and she graduated .. now my son 2022 now in twaddler … always best … The day care always clean and organized.. Madhu keep the parents and teachers with good communication… My kids clearly feel the love and warmth from their teachers, which is invaluable as a parent. It is hard to trust others to care for your children, especially infants, when you wish as a parent you could do it yourself. “We toured several preschools for our then 16 month old daughter. When we walked into Good Shepherd Lutheran School, the staff were very warm and the school itself was inviting. After learning about their infant and toddler programs, we left knowing we found the right place. Our daughter is now 3 and will be moving from the toddler class to the nursery class. Good Shepherd toddler program with Ms. Mimi and Ms. Dina has provided a fun, educational and caring environment for her. The staff members are excellent, creative, and highly skilled. It is very evident the staff love what they do, and they pour their hearts into the children daily. Our daughter has emerged and grown so beautifully under their tutelage, to which we are beyond grateful. In addition, the front office staff are also excellent. They are very thorough, proficient, and excellent communicators regarding logistics and business matters, etc. It is clear to us, the school is very professional and well-run. If possible, we would give even more stars!”

“After spending the first 15 months at home with baby, the process of finding a great daycare that would met my needs and wants was not an easy task. From the minute we came for a tour, baby was very responsive, walking up to the administrative staff. It was clear my child was very pleased and enjoyed the environment.Having access to the app to see all the pictures that are posted and any questions I may have during the day is also an added benefit. Since starting at the wooden shoe, there is so much noticeable social development that we have witnessed, especially learning. Singing the alphabet , counting and just more socially excited and engaged with people are some of the few benefits of this daycare. Most importantly, from the minute I drop off my child I am not anxious, worried or concerned, because I know they are being properly cared for and loved on. All the teachers know my childs name and are soo kind. Kids want to feel important and have a desire for belonging. I can see by the way my child is excited about daycare from the minute we park the car out front, that they feel the love from everyone there. Every meal, diaper change and naps are tracked in the app, thats some great attention to detail. Even when you are away you can still keep track of what your child is doing in the day, its nice.Some other things I like that are not related to childcare, i really like how responsive the administrative staff is. I can send an email in the morning and get extremely fast responses. As a healthcare professional, I take professionalism extremely seriously, so this is a huge plus. I really like how they present themselves when it comes down to my questions and providing answers. Also, we communicate with the teacher what we are teaching our child at home, and the teacher reinforces that in school and vice versa. Its great all around.Daycare is an investment in your child's future. And this is an investment that we are extremely happy to make. This place is an answered prayer, very grateful to God for everyone at the Wooden Shoe :)”

“This place is a gem. The teachers are warm, sweet and organized. They redirect rather than punish and have a great understanding of childhood development. The owners are professional, friendly and go out of their way to make sure our questions are answered. They communicate quickly. I love the app they use that keeps me informed about what my child did, what they ate, when they used the bathroom, napped, etc. The classrooms are a good size. The backyard has a small playground perfect for young kids and they bring in extra curricular teachers like for music, sports, etc. But the best indicator to me is that my 3 year old LOVES going there and actually cries when she CAN’T go. As a parent, that is the best feeling”

“Tutor Time has been my son's second home since he was 4 months old. The teachers, staff and leadership have been nothing short of amazing. They create a sense of family with their off hour events that allow families to mingle. The technology they use makes sure we don't miss a thing during the day, I can literally see into the classroom at all times of the day. My son has needed Speech and other services and his therapists have always been welcomed and the teachers are open to their advice. Highly recommend!”

“Wind n Willow is an amazing pre-school experience for your little one and you. The staff goes out of their way to show your child that each one is special to them. My children knew every teacher and admin staff in the school, and were excited to go everyday. If you want you know your child is in safe and loving hands everyday, get them into Wind n Willow.”
“We started wtih MATSS in 2014. The school was always exceptionally clean and the teachers and staff were always loving and caring to ALL the children. My kids have now both graduated from the school but I would trust no other school with my kids especially post-pandemic. The teachers and assistants followed every rule to a T and made M.A.T.S.S. an exceptional place to learn and grow. I am so grateful for all the years my children were able to flourish. I recommend M.A.T.S.S. to anyone looking for childcare. I have nothing but fond memories and good times to look back on.”
“Kiddie Junction is the best school to take any of your young children! I have twin boys who had a bad experience somewhere else & had separation anxiety and they treated us so kindly & welcomed us so warmly. “We had our daughter’s first birthday party here yesterday and it was incredible. This place is ran like a well oiled machine. I read the previous reviews regarding how poorly this place was ran, however, after discussing with my friends who’ve been here, they encouraged me to book. I’m so happy I listened to people I know and not some stranger on the internet. I understand how people felt “rushed” during eating but this is a business that holds multiple parties and they need to keep things on schedule. Bailey was our party leader and she was awesome. The other 2 assistants, Chris and Kier were just as helpful. The room was set up perfectly and they made sure to keep the party moving. The 2 women at the front desk/reception area were an absolute pleasure to work with. Also, shoutout to Janine and Marissa for matching our vision. The place is clean from corner to corner. We can’t say enough good things about this place. If you’re thinking about booking your birthday party here, DO IT.”

GNCS is a wonderful school with a devoted parent body, a highly experienced teaching staff and a great facility that includes a massive playground and outdoor class room. “My wife and I sent our son to Children's Nest Wantagh since he was 4 month's old. We recently moved and sadly had to leave prior to kindergarten. Our 4 years there were wonderful as the staff was always professional, helpful, and simply loving to our kid. We cant thank the Wantagh staff enough for the education they passed on and if you're looking for a quality and secure place to send your child, think Children's Nest Wantagh!”
