Staple in Westbury, I stopped in to return an unopened box of a chair I'd bought and found to big for the space. Jeff helped me and I found him to be a helpful sweet young man. I'd used 2 coupons rewards to pay for part of it and the rest in cash when I'd purchased it in the Plainview store. ( 14 day return policy with receipt) Bottom line I did get all back. But it's a courtesy as Now, going forward, if you use your rewards to pay and, need to return, you loose the money from them. Rewards easy, I don't find that.

Not bad of a store. Although I think it's because I came in early, but the store had only 2 staff members in the showroom.

Outstanding experience with Que to-day.! This is the second time he had come to help me with my dilemma. Que is a definite asset to Staples, as a business owner myself I known and appreciate the true value of an employee. Que is Knowledgeable, patient and will go out of his way to give you excellent caring customer service with a smile. He has exceeded my expectations in customer service!!! We need many more people like Que in our retail stores...

I frequent this location and everyone is usually very nice. The lower rating is due to the incident on 10/22/23 AM. The male working the UPS/AMZ desk probably should not work in customer service. This is my first time trying Staples’ AMZ return drop off, I usually go to UPS. He tells me this return can be accepted just this once but cannot typically be accepted because it’s too large (it was a cervical pillow, crescent shaped, quite pliable). AMZ doesn’t note restrictions but Staples may as unreasonable as it may seem. Then he condescendingly says to the extent of, “do you understand what I said?” Wow. You do not address an adult customer as if they were a child regardless of how frustrated you typically are when dealing with customers. I paused a beat considering the tone he used was unacceptable and was deciding if I should raise issue but I decided not to escalate the matter. He seems miserable enough and I’ll leave him be and hope he finds some peace and happiness in life.

I needed to have some photos cropped and printed a specific size as well as some printed card-stock images. Evan, the department manager, was so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Without Evan's help, it would have been a much more difficult process.

when we walked up to the printing and copying center, we met this older man and right off the bat i felt like he was giving an attitude like he didnt want to be there. we had to print a “30% off” label and it was a long strip of paper. he had told us he would put it on one sheet of paper and we were fine with it. he still seemed pretty mad and you could hear it in his tone. i never write reviews but i was so caught off guard that he would speak to anyone this way. when he finally gave us the papers the ink was patchy, they were crooked, and they were so close together you couldnt even cut off the individual strips. i’m so unsatisfied.

Associate lied about “bundled” pricing and included $14.99 charge on my bill WITHOUT my consent. Why would anyone pay $14.99 extended warranty on a $47.25 chair?!?!? Called back and the manager was not there. He said the managers name is Bob. This issue was escalated to Staples Corporate bc the associate lied and overcharged without my consent.

We used the custom printing dept to print funeral booklets. Evan (? The fan of Hayao Miyazaki) was super helpful and knowledgeable. The booklets were beautifully printed and ready within a few hours! And, cheaper than FedEx Kinkos. Highly recommend this printing service.

The passport photo service is completely inadequate.$15 + tax wasted for 2 passports which were not done properly. Wrong dimensions. The photographer did not ensure that the head and shoulders were straight. The background is non-standard. A poor job was done of cutting the photos. Black lines were left on the edges. I was surprised that only 2 photos were made for $15 but as it turned out the 2 photos were useless. Off to somewhere different to try and get passport photos done properly …

I love the employees there! They are so nice especially an employee named Robert! He help me look for amazing supplies for my daycare job!! This man needs a promotion!!!!

My experience: A few months ago Robert, an employee guided me to the right aisles and helped me find everything I needed. The store is clean and sleek, employees are especially helpful, possibly the best store I've visited, 10/10 :)

Great experience, as a customer this is quite rare, Robert, an employee there, helped me find everything I needed and showed me extras. A truly great staples experience and a wonderful employee, I wish more stores were like this.
