Like all other post offices, there are simply not enough staff. And since every service you're using the post office for is not everyday practice, most people (myself included) needed to step off the line to rectify something before seeing the clerk again, so the lines and wait times are long. I will always have this expectation when walking into a post office.
That being said, the two clerks who were working the Friday evening I walked in (Phillip and another gentleman) were polite. I had the pleasure of having Phillip help walk me through sending a Priority Mail Express to renew my passport, and it was a very pleasant experience. From what I could see, both clerks worked as efficiently as they could while ensuring everyone they were assisting got everything they needed to get done.
As far as post offices and errands go, my experience at this location was very positive.

If I could give them 0 stars i would. No one ever answers the phone and when my regular guy is off, sometimes i dont get the mail at all.

They don't have enough reps at the window. There should be two of them at the windows to serve at all times!

Most of the older employees are too slow. The new ones are not familiar with what is going on , and needs to be update. This post office does NOT have enough employees at the customer service desk ( 1 or 2) and the line is out of the door. If it's can't function equivalent to the customer needs, then it need to shut down. Then to top things off, has the audacity to increase stamp and post office box prices.

Rude and don’t listen to the customers. Wasted 2.5 hours of my time instead of believing that the customer might actually be in the right. I’ll be taking my future documents to OW postal office or Carle Place postal office instead.

They are extremely slow, understaffed, and the staff honestly doesn't even care about the client. They just want you to come in wait over 25 minutes and pretend that everything is ok when they treat you rudely. This place needs some better management.

This is the worse usps location ever! They work mad slow and they only have one person working while others are just chilling. I wish the managers at this location will take their jobs seriously! Who can i report this to?
