I’m not a review person - but the team there was very dismissive of the fact they serviced our hot tub and didn’t do a good job. I paid to have a servicing. Water was a cloudy mess 24 hours later but they wouldn’t do anything to resolve it. Woman just said bring water sample in. I really like this place but really poor form here. Hope they will resolve.

I am not a customer of John’s (which is the best part about John’s), I called them as they are a Raypak pool heater certified shop - and were recommended to me by Raypak for support on my new heater. I was in a desperate situation as we needed to pass a propane inspection by my town, and was getting a error code when we tried to fire it up. Their technician Stanley got on the phone with me 3 different times to help clear the code, and gave me step by step instructions - and it worked! We passed inspection. Again - I’ve never done business with them, I’m not even their customer - and they went out of the way to make sure I could pass inspection and get the heater running. Thanks so much guys it really meant a lot! (Especially Stanley)

I went in looking for a pool basketball hoop and a young girl was very helpful, until who I can assume the owner was stepped in. She was incredibly nasty to to poor employee to the point where the girl was shaking. I decided to Drive elsewhere rather than support a business and treats people like garbage.

I have never been to a place where an owner treated their employees so poorly. I had a nice young girl who wanted to help us and she offered to take us downstairs which is apparently against the rules. The way she was spoken to by the owner left her shaking. I will not frequent to store the treats people with disrespect

Incredibly dishonest. Sold me a pool vacuum for $134 and other pool accessories. I found EXACTLY the same products on Amazon for over 50% less. All of them : vacuum, hoses, skimmer cap. When I called to ask if there had been an error - if a "1" had mistakenly been added (amazon charged $44. $44!!). She said, no. No mistake, that was John's price. For the next week I called to ask for the manager and got nowhere. Finally I drove to the store and actually met the owner. I explained my situation, and how I wanted to support local businesses and she just played d**** But you could just tell she was in on it. Gouger.I eventually got my money back, but I've shared this story with others and I've heard similar stories about John's. Now I go to Leslie's in HB. It's a bit of a hike, but the peeps are nicer and they have all the products you need, except those inflatable toys. And I'm sure they overprice those, too.

You think paying for a winter watch, they would actually MONITOR your pool. Pool is green along with way too much water in the pool. Never again.

This is the most dishonest place I have ever encountered. For 3 + years they have managed my pool. The 4th year i called them and told them i was changing services. What I did not realize is they take the pool pump and the tray for the heater to store them (to make it harder to change providers?). When i called, they brought the pool pump but said they dont have the tray. Now every single year they took the tray and every year they reinserted it when they opened the pool. Now all of the sudden they dont have a tray? Without the tray you have to buy a new heater. They say that they could not get it out! Really, someone got it out because its not there. A very nice woman was trying to help me although each time she said she would call me back and never did. During my 4th call, she said "i got to go, the owner just walked in, i will call you right back". I never got a call. This does not surprise me because the owner, the two previous times i talked to her said she would call me back and never did. So I had to buy a new pool heater when mine was perfectly good. If you change services to another pool company, make sure you have all the things they take to "store for you". A totally dishonest pool company and an owner who could care less about her clients. I will never let anyone I know use this service. If I could give less than one star I would.

I was in need of my pool to be vacuumed and I called John's Swimming pools & Spas!!! They told me they would be able to do it on sat but the were so booked up they came Sunday instead. That was okay with me as long as it got done, I couldn't care less when they came after all I wasn't going anywhere anyway. They did a good job at the end, but the price quoted was wrong and I understood that. He worked about an hour vacuuming my pool. And when he was done it looked a lot better than when he started!!!!

LITERALLY the best pool company in the Hampton's! I stop by at least twice a season and they always have the best pool accessories. I bought my kids their new-favorite swan floaty. Last year they were SO nice about helping my husband and I pick out our Dimension 1 hot tub. I was SO indecisive, but the staff was so nice. And any time I call with questions, they're always able to help. They're also family owned and been there forever -- I just LOVE this place!

My pump failed over the weekend. I used John's pools for the replacement. I scheduled it through Linda over the phone for Monday. Hows the for fast service. Ronald did the install; he was helpful, professional, and friendly and his answers to my questions showed he really knows his stuff. I told Linda I wanted to simply pay cash at time of service and it wasn't an issue. Another company I'd used in past required that I fill out a work order form and a payment and then scan it to computer and send email with forms attached and then come to the store to pay cash before the job was scheduled. It was a multistep process and quite a hassle so I really appreciated how easy John's pools made it. I've found my new pool company!
