“I can't say enough about Bidawee Westhampton. We went to them when our beloved dog became suddenly ill. Everyone on the staff was exceptional. When we lost our girl they took care of her cremation and were incredibly caring. There was even a sweet German shepherd in the office when we were making arrangements that was like a natural therapy pup and a chihuahua that provided comic relief. Definitely helped lighten our mood on a very difficult day!”

“This place is amazing. I know I suggest them to everyone but they honestly treat every dog like their own and they listen to the owners when they say somethings wrong. Ellie is the most loving, playful dog I've ever had. So when somethings wrong with her it's very noticeable. She gave us a heart attack last night because she was having trouble controlling her legs. Went to the ER they scanned her said she might be fine (after accusing us of bringing her in and "nothing being wrong with her") or it could just be neurological. Then quoted us $1600 for the same work that we paid less then half the price of this morning at MLVH. As soon as I called the vets knew immediately I was not kidding. But, only Ellie when we walk in she's filled with adrenaline and happy because my dog LOVES. Her normal vets. They walked us through every test and scan they did with her and helped her when her anxiety kicked in. They gave us options and treatments and plans and gave Ellie LOTS of treats. I cannot express how much respect I have for the people there and I wouldn't know what to do without them.”

“Dr. Stanbock is quite honestly the best veterinarian we’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing & bearing witness to caring for our pups, whether for well visits & check ups to a recent trauma of our lab being struck by a hit & run. He is so knowledgeable and thorough but not an alarmist; he just gets it and is 100% in the right vocation. I wish he could be the doctor for the humans in our family too. His entire staff is second to none (well, Tracey and Dr. Meekins at the shelter definitely have the calling, care & competence too, and yesterday and today we were reminded of the good people of East Quogue and that it indeed, takes a village. We are humbled and grateful and extend out heartfelt thanks to everyone who took part in getting our pups home safe & sound; but as far as a full service veterinarian, Good Ground Hospital is without question, the only place to take your beloved furry children. I would love to mention the staff by name whether it’s making an appointment, taking out a catheter, listening to us fretting and ruminating and calming us with informed answers and plans for healing, Dr. Stanbock, Jen, Monica, Ashley and forgive me for not remembering the two technicians’ names from today, but every one of them have equal parts competence and compassionate caring hearts. Suffice it to say I was waiting results for my dog, on more than one occasion, or had an immediate concern. Dr. Johnston's day did not end until I was contacted, sometimes hours after the practice had closed. A wonderful, sensitive human! This shows up as San Fran,Ca, but I am from Patchogue”

“Amazing, a very efficient and caring vet. The front staff and doctors are friendly and knowledgeable. My wobbly cat Saki needed her teeth removed, and I was really nervous since she is a runt as well (tiny and weak). Before the surgery they came out and explained the whole process and even showed me the paperwork detailing the pricing. The surgery went smoothly and she is doing well. Not only that, my other cat needed his teeth removed about 2 years ago and they completed that as well, he is doing great.”

“I met Dr. Naseem for the first time a month ago. I brought my newly adopted cat to him with a distended abdomen. He suspected that Phoebe has Feline Infectious Peritonitis, or FIP. Up until the recent past, this diagnosis would be fatal. But Dr. Naseem's extensive knowledge of the illness pointed me in the right direction to get treatment for her. Without Dr. Naseem's quick recognition of this illness and referral, Phoebe would be dead. His love for pets and their well-being is apparent in how he treated her and how excited he was about being able to save her. We went for a four week check up today, and we're all thrilled with Phoebe's progress. The stars lined up to help this cat, and Dr. Naseem, and his wonderful staff, are a huge part of Phoebe's survival. I wouldn't go anywhere else with my pet.”

My neighbor told me how great Vetco is so I gave them a call & they immediately gave me an appointment for the next morning. Dr. Carroccia & her entire staff were excellent. “My 15-year-old cat got sick. He was been prone to urinary tract issue since adopted as a young kitten. None of his episodes ever took place during a normal veterinary clinics hours so an ER vet service was always necessary & I used to go to Atlantic Coast veterinary in Islip . Well, needless to say he got very sick at a very inappropriate time and I took him to Atlantic Coast on Vets hwy Bohemia which is where I've taken him four times over his 15 years. When I got there, they told me they have absolutely no veterinarians available as their veterinarian called in sick so I needed to go elsewhere; if boggled my mind that at 24 hour vet care clinic didn't have any veterinarians available so they had to turn you away..really! I then brought my cat all the way back toward home to East end veterinarian in Riverhead; although it was one of the saddest times (unfortunately my baby did not make it) I will say that the care and the friendliness of this facility was absolutely outstanding. I still have his sister, and if God forbid anything should happen to her I will be going directly to East end veterinary for their excellent care and service. They made a very difficult time as easy as they could possibly have made it for me and I appreciate that so much, I highly recommend them - make them your first choice- they may be a little farther away, but the service is worth it.”
