I went there last year cause my transmission was not working right.
I told Jeff that I was headed to North Carolina and I didn’t want any problems. They said the problem was the steering mechanism. They ‘fixed’ it to the tune of $1500. I headed to NC. I almost did not make it. Transmission problems all the way. I finally found a small independent transmission shop in Wilmington NC. They put in a rebuilt transmission. Van working good. Jeff talks a good game but he’s a thief. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF.

The worst aamco Transmission shop ever i took my 2012 ford e250 to fix the issue with my transmission and they couldn’t even find the problem and they charged the 160$ dollars just bc they put an obd2 scanner in my truck and I went there to pay and I wanted to pay cash hes like we have no charge with attitude and said i need exact amount like what. Also he told me they been in business for 40 years maybe the company did but Mark maybe was new there and they hired him to scam people I would never in my life would recommend anyone to go there ever useless shop worst experience ever had

These guys (Mark and Jeff) are total scam artists. They wait until your car is in their shop and then quote a price. After a few hours they then come back with a different price. They do not take the time to do something properly. They complain about their parking problems and problems with not enough lifts.
They are just not doing quality work. They work in a frenzied manner.

I had my car diagnosed and was told it needed a new transmission. Diagnostic and putting back parts took over 3 weeks and every time I called, "M" or consultant was busy. There were other customers. Wasn't I a paying customer? I was also told mechanics cannot be rushed. For close to a month? At 1,100++ diagnostic fee, I cannot be attended to? On top of that, I wasn't given a description of diagnostic, was promised one, and ended up arguing with "M" and owner because there was no description of service. If you are a woman like me and who knows if being not "white" counts, take my advice - get things in black and white. If Maaco or other similar establishments can do it and at a faster pacing, so should they.

It's a great group of guys who treat you right. They diagnose your problem or problems and let you know what the deal is. They also try very hard to get your vehicle back to you by the time they say it will be done. I've been going to them for years. In all reality I don't like going to them because that means something has gone wrong with my vehicle! But, they make the best of me coming to them by finding out what's wrong and then doing their best to get me back on the road. And that's why I keep coming back.

AVOID AVOID RIPOFF DANGEROUS. Your family’s safety is at risk coming to Jeff & Jared.UPDATE: Aamco executives Michael Pekula VP and Bruce Chidsey President refuse to have our transmission remanufactured professionally with a 3 year warranty, after a new under warranty transmission failure.Unfortunately, I trusted Jeff and Jared for TWO years to repair a vibration and their failing transmission rebuild, and make good on my car. No return of calls. Told parts were failing by Jeff because they were a “Cun* Hairs” off. Extremely unprofessional behavior again, and again. They had every opportunity to make amends with us. Over $15,000 spent with Aamco. Despite several initial attempts at repair by Jeff, the car continued to have the same vibration issue repeat. Many promises, lots of talk, yet the issue persisted. I’ve been beyond patient. Jeff recommended a new transfer case would fix the problem, and then, a new transmission to "100% fix the issue". Needless to say after I paid for these, neither costly repair fixed the vibration issue. I've taken the car to Jeff, Jared and team over 20 times, almost 100 calls, tons of test drives, paid over $10,000 in parts and labor to Aamco and the vibration was not fixed. Their own shop foreman, Alex, agreed the vibration issue remained in our test drive yet Jeff would not, or could not, fix the car. Jared and Jeff refused any kind of refund. Has not returned my calls. I had to pay my local mechanic thousands more on top of what I paid Jeff unnecessarily, to re-diagnose and fix the original vibration issue; which was an axle/mount geometry problem in the end. My shop confirmed with the axle failing (Jeff’s part & repair) this was a dangerous problem since steering control was involved. I drive my 5 kids in this car and SHAME on Jeff and Jared for not caring about safety, either. Note, my local shop fixed the car vibration in 3 days where Jeff had been working on the car for a year unsuccessfully.MOST RECENTLY, I've learned from my mechanic the Aamco transmission rebuild they did (which was not needed!), is also failing! You can’t make this up. My shop at first didn’t consider the transmission could be failing since it was just rebuilt by Aamco. Total and complete nightmare, what a waste of time. I've spent months and months of my life on this. What a stress trusting the wrong company, and Jeff/Jared.This may ALL be bad luck, maybe my car is extremely complicated (??) but it was not handled professionally by Aamco, no ownership for the failing work completed, inability to resolve the issue, or promises made time and again as I spent money. Trust completely violated. They’ve taken all my money and every repair I paid over $10,000 for is failing. I'm now going to have to take Aamco to court. More waste of time for everyone. AVOID AVOID RIPOFF DANGEROUS.Also, their parking lot is the worst I’ve ever encountered at any business. Unsafe to get out of without being side swiped.
