Okay Yelp community, I'm baaack! So if I reviewed BJ's before this is an addition only specific to the optical department. I needed to go for an eye exam and sadly my ophthalmologist has left the building so to speak. While shopping in BJ's I noticed the sign for eye exams @ $75.00. Okay what the heck. Made the appointment. So after the usual interrogation of medical history you are introduced to a version of HAL 9000. For those that may not get the reference 2001 Space Odyssey. Pretty cool, look ma no hands! No eye drops no dilation. The technician Alya was great she explained the whole process. After she did her part, you are then introduced to another specialist that proceeds to continue with the exam. Once it is completed you get a comprehensive report and it's explained. Apparently my prescription changed so I needed to update my glasses. Say hello to Dana the manager. She could not have been better. I explained my needs, you know the standard transitions progressive lenses, all the bells and whistles. When I told her of my poor experience at Lens Crafters and how they did no follow up and how my transitions quit transitioning she took the time to explain that transitions have a life, a short one at that. Picked up my glasses today, Dana confirmed fit, made sure they were comfortable and made sure I could see. Great services. Dana is very professional knowledgeable and personable and shows great leadership qualities.

For more than 10+ years I've been going to different BJ's in the country and I never feel so much disrespect as I felt last 10/12/23 at BJ'S Tarrytown Road Greensburg. I used the manual scanner for the first time because my shopping cart only had a few items and I even ask for assistant for some of the items everything was right until I got to the door with my receipt.the grumping woman who is a person without manner she treated me like a thief , sorting my food as a dirty clothes.I asked what is going on and she talked to me very rude in so a bad mood telling me one of the item is not in the receipt. I felt disrespect, humiliated and embarrassed.At that moment I almost left my purchase and cancel my membership with BJ's for a person like that woman without any drop of education.the manager or someone above him should train those people who don't know how to deal in each scenario remember nobody is the same, and you don't know my background.educate yourself BJ's staff.

I had a great experience at bj’s greenburgh branch today. Tall nice gentleman name Randy, who helped me soooo much. He was willing to help me no matter what when i asked him for looking for the items, very patient, passionate, made me feeling like a vip there. This store is very clean, very well organized, very pleasant shopping all the time. Thank you so much again Randy :)

My name is Vera Valenzuela, I'm member of bj Greensburg ny, I went to buy a 85" tv and I need assistance so I went to Customer service to ask for help and they said they going to send somebody to help me, he never showed up, I wait for about 30 minutes and nothing so at the end I have to do it for my self some how, thanks for nothing.

Why pay for a membership and then have to clip coupons to get a discount? At Costco you pay your membership and discounts are automatically applied. A lot of wasted time and paper......

The BJs has potential. They don’t have enough carts. You can stand and wait in the parking lot Dat or Sun afternoon and there are not enough carts. All of the carts house are empty. The ethnic freezer should have Goya products and they don’t have any of the products in the freezer that belong there. There express check out is not express. They make you wait while they scan everyone’s receipts. Seriously make the self express check out work like everyone else. Bjs in Nyack have it down to a science and so does Stop & Shop. Staff is not very friendly and need to have sensitivity training. If your going to reserve carts for the handicap, just because someone looks able on the outside doesn’t mean they are able. When asking for a cart why not ask do you need assistance and not tell a handicap person or they are reserve for the handicap.

08/02/2023 10:00 AMI have had the chance to shop a few different BJ wholesale clubs in a few states. I really like the Greenburgh, NY location. The employees are pleasant. Today, Edna was ringing my family out. She is pleasant and efficient. The store is well stocked, clean and parking is great. My only concern with this chain is the constant push for their employees to ring out people faster. We were actually cautioned not to scan our membership card until we had all our purchases on the register because to not do so would lower the activity score of the register person. I am not sure I approve of such stress placed on the employees. Shopping experiences are not only based on how fast you can check out; but instead, how friendly the employees are and whether they are happy to show up at work.

This BJ's is great! Not crowded, in stock conditions with fresh food. Employees are nice. Why aren't you shopping here?!

Love that this store had a great variety of cat food and litter! Most stores have one or two...we feed outdoor cats and generally have to stock up....this store was good!

Compared to the other BJs in my area (Pelham, and 231st and B'way) this BJs is an absolute pleasure to shop at. Helpful people, shelves always stocked, lots of parking, and no hassles! The most impressive feature is that self checkout where the scanners and machines all work. At the Pelham and 231st BJs, the machines are held by duct tape, always mis-scanning, always requires someone to reset it resulting in long lines.Shop at THIS BJs, save yourself a headache!
