I took way to long to pick up an online order. And it took 3 people. Nobody seemed to understand how to do it. Getting a gift receipt was another challenge, and another wait!!

Mid century modern home goods and furniture. I like their kitchen items the most. Our glasses and bowls have stood the test of time.

I cqme in today to purchase some Christmas gifts for my family. I found a nice throw which was along a back wall which was all marked 20% off. which I decided to get. While checking out the saleswoman asked if it was on sale, to which I replied "yes it was marked 20% off.". She called over the radio to the woman upstairs who confirmed the sale price. - No issues. Well this is when another young woman came up to me and asked me to "take a walk with her", in order to prove the item was on sale. Excuse me?? Her attitude was so smug, acting like I was a liar with a big grin on her face. I told her where to look, as it was upstairs and I have a knee injury but she insisted that I went up with her... So I did, and showed her the wall of at least ten red colored 20% off tags. "Well where did you get it from?" She asked as we stood in from of the wall. She made me walk and point to exactly the spot were I pulled it from like i was trying to scam! All while being extremely smug, and "polite". She then ripped the tag off and walked it down stairs where she was she would "honor" the Sale. Well excuse me, but it's marked on sale, why wouldn't you honor it??? The older women behind the sales counter were fantastic and I appreciated their help, but the youbg manager was so unprofessional. I hope whoever sees this speaks with her about customer service!

Above and beyond service from Michael Chan. Extremely efficient and helpful with a big furniture order and we wanted to maximize our benefits with the Crate & Barrel rewards. He knows the products well and helped us place a complicated order and ensured we were able to get everything we needed for delivery to a new building. And every time I've been at the store in person- customer service has been very friendly and sales staff know how to direct us to the right products for kitchen/cookware etc. Thanks so much for the positive experience.

Worst delivery experience. They were unprofessional from the beginning to the end. They refused to place carpets where they were supposed to be even though service included their physical placement. I do not think the company trains those guys for proper manners and customer service. What mortified me most was one of the guys blowed the horn in the whole neighborhood loudly multiple times when I was speaking with another guy to wrap up paper work. Really, appatently you can get that type of service after you pay $4k for carpets. All other furniture businesses such as Bloomingdale, Ethan Allen, Bassett, Fortunoff, Country Willow and R & F provide amazing services. Crate & Barrel is disappointing to say the least. They are not near the professionel level of the other furniture stores i mentioned above.

I just had the worst delivery experience with delivery guys. They were very unprofessional from the beginning to the end. The entire experience was negative. Plus it made waste my time by holding on the phone with customer service to file a complaint. After paying $4000 for carpets, that type of behavior exhibited by delivery people is unacceptable.

Came in to buy a Decanter for my wine collection and Sedahri provided great customer service. Not only did she help me find the right decanter but she also greeted me with a warm welcome. She is a gem and a true professional….Thanks for everything. I'll be coming here more often!!!

This is a review of one specific location (White Plains at the Westchester), on one specific day (a wintry afternoon in February 2022), and one specific person (Sonia), but it also happens to be a review of my entire journey with Crate for 15+ years. When I had my first job in NYC, I used to (willingly) spend half my paycheck at Crate and its funky cousin, CB2, down in Soho.Recently, I needed some new furnishings and had the great fortune to stumble into the store and speak with Sonia. She was not only design savvy (as in, I trusted her design judgment and aesthetic recommendations), but she was also engaging, dynamic, and fun. Elevated customer service. She's the type of person I would like to work with (or for) if I ever left the comfort of my home office. She made the furniture-purchasing experience stress-free and enjoyable. If I could give her a raise myself, I would. Also, I had only a brief exchange, but the manager of the store (Allisa) gave off really good vibes--and let's face it, retail is all about vibes. The White Plains store is beautiful, clean, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out. I find myself visiting a few times a year--even when I don't need anything. Just for inspiration, or to kill an hour. This time I needed a ton of furniture, and I'm glad I chose this place over the competition.Plus, Crate does a lot of business with Europe (including my motherland, Poland), and they seem to be making a bigger push toward the sustainability / fair trade / support-local-artisans movement. I hope they continue moving in that direction (because, heck, otherwise: global warming and social unrest are no bueno).Because of the exceptional customer service, I'm giving this place 5 stars. Also, this long-a%% review is really just an excuse to show off a photo of the dope mirror they had on display. Thanks for reading, and may you thrive--in your career and in life.

Quite sizable store w/ friendly staff. I always find myself spending at least 15 mins in this store even when I don't have anything special that I'd like to buy. I wouldn't say the furniture is as modern/elegant as West Elm, but quite affordable and appealing to the masses.
