Quest Diagnostics is setting their staff up to fail. They have no administrative assistant or person to sign anyone in, guests are not getting the help they need nor promp service. Techs are in and out trying to fulfill their job while also filling the role of an administrator. This is a terrible system wait times are horrendous, communication is horrendous and several guest have become irate in the waiting room creating an unsafe space for both it's staff and guest. It's unprofessional, and unsafe. Do better Quest Diagnostics, support your staff.

I fasted for 12 hours and came for blood tests ordered by my doctor. You didn’t have the orders, asked me when they were faxed, and then started leafing through a 2” stack of unsorted faxes. Then you said you could only find 6 cover pages but no actual orders. I called my doctor’s office and they refaxed them. They didn’t arrive and your technician said that it could take half an hour for faxes to arrive at your lab. I had already been sitting there for an hour so I left.
A week later I tried again. I had my doctor’s nurse fax the orders again and carefully noted the date and time they were sent. Your technician found the orders and printed them. Then she said that two of the tests were not covered by Medicare and Quest would not bother itself to bill my supplemental insurance so I would need to pay the full list cost ($277) up front and then learn how to file supplemental insurance forms (because none of my other healthcare providers have ever been so unhelpful and lazy) in hopes of perhaps getting some of the $277 refunded.
I walked out, drove to my doctor’s office, his technician quickly, painlessly, and politely drew the blood, they handled all the insurance with no payment demanded from me, and I got all my results within 24 hours in my hospital network’s patient portal.
After using Quest Labs routinely for I believe decades, these last two visits were so frustrating that Quest is now dead to me forever.

Made an appointment on their app where I could also check in seamlessly. Was taken in within 10 minutes. The only thing I would recommend is that CoFlex or Conan latex tape were available. Many of us are on an anti-coagulants or blood thinners and the latex tape would really make a difference to prevent black and blue marks and hematomas.I was told by the phlebotomist that the company won’t provide this tape (as compared to Labcorp). Why not?
Too cheap?
The phlebotomists at Quest are all
very good.

The staff there was wonderful but I had an appointment and the wait was over an hr! There are too many appointments scheduled with not enough staff help. When I arrived there were 12 appointments ahead of me on the schedule. The two staff members working were doing the best they could to keep up and were very pleasant and kind.

The young staff their I was annoyed with and one of them I had to let know I will always advocate for my child. One of them took to long to do the blood work and couldn't get a vein and talking about my kid is dehydrated. My child drinks a lot of water and when I take him else where I don't run into an issue. I won't come back here I got a bad vibe from here. Don't poke a mama bear and stay in your lane a mother has all rights to speak up for her child.

Dalia is so rude and in professional women doing blood work always they never have to email or submit any bloodwork. She asked me to email the platform. It’s not in the system. It’s so unprofessional and so rude.

I arrived on time for my appointment at 11:40am, instantly without even looking at my name or information. Whoever took my sample said "YOU ARE LATE! I'm like why? She said she only takes glucose tests between 8-10am but I was able to schedule an appointment on the website for 11:40am? She asked me to leave. I said that it was my only time away from work, she cited another reason saying I did not fast. I said I have been fasting since 1am and on the email I received 8-12 hours of fasting was needed. She told me again I had to leave and come back the next day so that my glucose won't be elevated. I asked her why will it be elevated at this time? She said she doesn't know. I asked her why won't you take my blood now? I was already there! She then took my sample with her attitude, rolling her eyes. I got the results back and guess what my glucose is NORMAL!!! Why is this employee working at your company?? Why are you hiring people who clearly does not want to do their jobs??

It would be faster and easier to go to school and learn phlebotomy than to use this place. They cannot operate their systems, cannot communicate and look at you with absolute disdain. I left losing my lunch hour due to their bungling without a completed test.

Before you go in there make an appointment or call ahead . If not! It could be a bad time if you have to provide a sample and you're ready to go . This is more of a knock on Quest and whatever vendor sets up the tests then the employees. Once in everything is seamless

I had to make 2 appointments, the first time they didn't take care of me because I forgot to bring the confirmation number which they had on file, had to make another appointment and wait 3 days, On my second appointment I had to wait 40 minutes after the time that my appt. was set, very unprofessional, will never recommend or go there again.

Had a 10:40 appointment. Check-in via the link texted to me was easy and straightforward. Taken back after 20 min and rep was friendly and efficient. Thanks

The phlebotomist was conscientious and friendly. She communicated issues related to the cost of the tests. She was also concerned that the blood work be as painless as possible.
