Shopped at Ritani.com, purchased lab grown diamond stud earrings. At the time was confirmed to receive 4/5/24, received several emails communicating. "We've secured your diamond" "Your Diamond's on its way to Ritani" "We're Shipping your Diamond Soon" Then - "Your Order is delayed" - sent on 4/4/23 at 3PM, and second email offering me different "local" diamonds so they can get these "swapped right away!" Issue 1 - I don't seem to be able to see the IGI document for my original order... hmmm... Issue 2 - delivery is late, and I feel pressured to choose. I emailed a response before business hours and herd back by 10am. It turns out they had one stone, and needed me to choose another so I did, with the understanding that I had 30 days to return with full refund. Email at 3:pm Friday 4/5/24 telling me they are shipping tonight for Saturday delivery. Fingers crossed that they look good.

WISHED I would have looked up their reviews before the experience I've had. I got my original ring from them. It has a bamboo setting ( photo attached). Once we got married, I wanted a band to match which was very hard to find. Contacted ritani and for a matching band they wanted INSANE amount of money because it's considered "custom" when they should be offering the matching ALREADY on the site. I decided to switch out the setting so I could get a matching band, did it once and it was terrible. The ring sat lower than my original, and there was no room for the band to fit flush against it!!!! Not to mention, all you see on their rings are PRONGS. No diamonds. Had them do yet ANOTHER setting and they STILL COULDNT GET IT RIGHT. FINALLY I decided to get my original ring out back because this has been such a painful process, got my ring back today and the head on the ring is MANGLED AND BENT!!!!!! They said oh that happened when we took it off so we just put it back on and didn't make it right, didn't even let me know?!?!?! THESE PEOPLE ARE INSANE!!!!! THEY RUINED MY RING!!! Do not go here, save yourself the time and money.

I had to return my engagement ring to Ritani since it was a huge disappointment. The ring setting looked crooked and poorly made. I also came to find out later that I was over-charged for the diamond! I know this because the engagement ring that my fiance and I subsequently bought from Blue Nile has a diamond of the same carat size and quality (slightly better, actually) and was less expensive! My advice? Avoid Ritani; their quality assurance stinks, and they will rip you off.

I purchased a set of earrings for Christmas. Three days before Christmas was notified one of the diamonds was unavailable. Their customer service was hands down the best! They found me two more diamonds, better quality, and had them at my doorstep within 24 hours. The diamonds are absolutely gorgeous. My personal experience, I would recommend them to anyone. I still cannot believe they pulled off a 24-hour delivery. And that was setting the diamonds in the earring and shipping them to my door. I will be a returning customer for life.

I ordered engagement ring from this company on November 25th. Original delivery was delayed and the ring was different from what I ordered. I contacted the company and they agreed to repair it. I send it back and the ring was delivered on December 3rd. The repair was delayed twice already without any notification, I had to contact them myself for updates. Today is December 24th and the ring is still at their factory. It was custom ring order #*****. Now theyre saying that repair takes 4-6 weeks, which I wasnt aware of before. Now they asked me to wait till Tuesday next week when their manager will contact me for the solution

Not so Happy Holidays...... Nov. 30- I placed an order for a custom designed ring, with plenty of buffer for the holidays. I ordered the diamond and the setting online through Ritani and was given a Dec. 13th delivery date. After anxiously waiting and getting very excited, what I thought was my designed ring, arrived on time as stated online. To my disappointment and frustration, the setting in the box was nothing like what I ordered despite the setting having my diamond in it. My design was completely different and the head of the setting was to include sapphires. To make matters worse, I took off work to be home for the delivery which required a signature. I immediately contacted customer service and was told to return the ring to be corrected and it would be turned around within a week. The new delivery date was set in my profile as Dec. 22 (now I'm a little nervous but was assured several times by customer service that my order would be just fine). Dec. 21- I contact customer to make sure that my ring will be sent overnight for next day delivery. I'm then informed that Ritani does not keep sapphires "in house," and that my order may not make it in time for Christmas. I'm now very upset and in a panic as other plans have been made to go along with the presentation of the ring....The only resolution that I'm offered is to contact them again the next day and they will take $100 off of the ring. *Customer service was very nice but their policy and discount offered was a drop in the bucket compared to the frustration and anxiety felt at this point* As a customer of Brilliant Earth and James Allen, I've never had this type of problem and I feel like they would offer a much deeper discount to try and make up for their mistake. Dec. 22- I again contact Ritani to get an update (they should be contacting the frantic customer at this point) and as expected, the sapphires are still not in stock and there is no estimate given for the completion of the CORRECT ring. No other discount is offered and nothing can be done to ensure that Christmas plans go on as scheduled. I ask the rep to cancel my order, which she does. The moral of the story is go with a more reputable company that will keep you in the loop and when they screw up, they do everything in their power to make it right. I absolutely HATE doing reviews and I'm not one to leave a bad review. This situation could have been avoided if Ritani would've reached out and said upfront or even 2 weeks ago that they didn't have sapphires in stock or if the correct ring was made when they did have sapphires in stock. Ritani should have also offered a much higher discount outside of the "I'm sorry, here's $100 in hush money!" The fact that I had to do all of the reaching out and following up and the fact that Ritani let me down 3 days before Christmas, left me with no time for a backup plan and has cost me time, money and undue stress. Bottomline, I'd suggest spending your money elsewhere. Ritani should work on offering better "I'm sorry" discounts when they are responsible for sending the making the wrong ring or supply delays.

My original order came a week late, customer service never gave me a proper timeline every time I reached out (about 6 times). Finally, when it came I was disappointed in the custom setting so opted to have it reset with a regular setting from their inventory. After I sent it back and paid the additional money for the new setting, 3 weeks went by and no update. It's now been 5 weeks and the last email I received from customer service was that it should be here yesterday, which did not happen. I cant tell you how their product is yet but I can tell you that they cannot manage customers expectations properly so if you are trying to make plans around a big engagement, I wouldn't go with this brand as it is inconsistent and never on time.

Ritani has exceeded our expectations and would definitely purchase from them again. I ordered the wrong size for my ring and their customer care support made sure that the new resized ring was on time for our wedding. The ring is also beautiful, love their designs.

My fiancé and I are MORE than satisfied with our ring. We actually built the ring together and the simplicity of the website was amazing. We were able to filter everything from the color to the shape and be able to see photos and videos prior to our purchase. The shipping process was also quick and easy. The ONLY reason I deducted a star from my rating is because, the entire reason we went with Ritani is because the reviews regarding customer service were phenomenal. It took me more than two phone calls to actually speak to someone who not only helped me with what I needed, but even introduced themselves. I think I may have had unfortunate timing in calling the same girl who didn’t introduce herself and very much was not having a good day. My fiancé and I actually purchased a larger ring because of our experience and wanted some assistance in regards to the return process, the quality of the new ring, etc. we were not helped at all. I’m glad we were finally able to speak with someone who was helpful and was able to assist us with our new ring. Overall, we are MORE than happy with our ring and the process of picking it.

A Cautionary Tale: My Disastrous Experience with RitaniI wanted to share my recent experience purchasing a lab-grown diamond engagement ring from Ritani, which has been nothing short of a nightmare. I hope my account can serve as a cautionary tale for anyone considering purchasing from them.I purchased an engagement ring from Ritani, shelling out approximately $2,300 USD, inclusive of shipping and custom duties to have the ring delivered to Italy. Upon arrival, I was initially pleased with the diamond itself; it was quite beautiful. However, my delight was short-lived when I noticed the ring's craftsmanship was severely lacking. As you can see from the attached pictures, the ring was not symmetrical, and the prongs were noticeably more bent on one side.Recognizing the defect, I promptly contacted Ritani. They instructed me to send the ring back for repair and provided me with a DHL return label. I sent the ring back and, according to the DHL tracking, it was delivered on August 8th.Fast forward to August 25th, I had not heard anything from Ritani regarding the status of the repair. I reached out to them, only to be informed that they had not even received the ring, despite DHL tracking showing it had been delivered. Essentially, they had no idea where my ring was.For the past two weeks, I've been caught in a frustrating cycle of empty promises. They assure me they are contacting the carrier and that they will have an update within two working days. Yet, each time, those two days pass without any communication from their end. When I follow up, they simply ask for another two business days.As of now, I am still in the dark about the whereabouts of my ring and whether I will ever get it back.Perhaps I have been particularly unlucky, but my experience with Ritani has been HORRIBLE. The initial quality of the ring was laughable—I cannot fathom how anyone could have deemed it acceptable to send out. Moreover, their return process has been an absolute nightmare.Yes, Ritani offers competitive prices and decent stones, but I have to ask: is it worth it for such a horrendous customer experience? From my perspective, the answer is a resounding 'no'. I hope my experience can help others make a more informed decision when choosing where to purchase their precious pieces.

Just wow. After selecting 3 stones (radiants), they were sent to me quickly. They were all as described (after hours online viewing by me) and amazing. I picked the two I needed and then had a painless (free) return on the 3rd which post back to my account within a few days. Make my center stone pop with love!! Loved the experience so much, I did another purchase for a custom piece for my daughter’s graduation gift and now getting ready to do a 3rd. Great value! Outstanding Customer Support!! AND responsive via telephone, text and email. A rarity these days.

My Ritani experience was perfect. I had questions about my diamond and I received an immediate fair and honest response. The ordering process was smooth and without any hiccups. My ring was shipped on the day they promised. The carrier was a day late due to weather. But I received accurate and timely updates. Once my ring arrived, it was packaged beautifully with appropriate paperwork. I took my ring to my local appraiser and received exactly what my certificate said and received, according to my jeweler a “smoking deal.” I would recommend Ritani to anyone shopping for jewelry.

Great experience ordering and much faster delivery than other online Diamond retailers. The earrings are stunning and huge! I didn’t realize that the tcw is per earring so I was shocked how large they are when they arrived. I love them! I’m getting used to the screw backs but they give me peace of mind that the earrings will stay on no matter what.

I made my own engagement ring from what they offered. It all worked. Wish the halo setting was bigger in person that the end result but the diamond is as good as advertised. I'd still recommend then but there offerings are a bit limited when you want something specific.
