first time at an abortion clinic, came to make an appointment and see what i should do following up with an abortion. when i got there they were rude and seemed very annoyed. not giving me the support i needed. i made my follow up appointment with the doctor and at the front desk and i called to make sure it was in the system, but when i went there for that appointment nothing was in the system and when i asked if could at least get an ultrasound or anything since i has came all the way there, they denied me saying i needed an appointment when i had gone through 3 different ways to ensure i had one. i had to wait another 5 days to get the earliest appointment i could. when i went in for the 3rd time to finally get my abortion i stopped at the front desk again before i was leaving to get a doctor's note saying i couldn't make it in to work the next day but when i got home the note said i was good to return to work the next day after the abortion, after the doctor even told them right in front of me that i needed at least 3 days off. so now i am waiting on an email i'll probably never from planned parenthood saying i need at least 3 days off before i can return to work. this whole process was a nightmare. every time i went there they messed something up. bs i hated every second of it. do not go here.

Absolutely do not come to this place!!!! The most incompetent, inconsiderate people I have ever dealt with when it comes to healthcare. After what I went through with them, they clearly do not care about their patients. I came to this planned parenthood in white plains for regular STD testing. Everything came back normal except one of my results from my urine sample said I was pregnant. I waited 2 days for a phone call as the physician told me that whether I was negative or positive for anything, they would be in contact and let me know. I called repeatedly asking to speak to someone. After 3 tries, i finally got in touch with a nurse who said she didnt know what that result meant and would have to clarify with the physician and she would be back in touch with me by the end of the day. I NEVER HEARD ANYTHING BACK. I called again the next morning asking to speak to my physician and I said it was urgent. The woman i spoke to told me to "be patient" and that my physician would be in contact with me by the end of the day. Never heard anything back from them. Turns out after taking multiple pregnancy tests and stressing over this whole situation, I am not even pregnant!!!!! They couldn't even call me back to clarify anything with me because they must have messed up with their documentation. The way this whole situation was handled was reckless, dangerous, and absolutely inappropriate for a healthcare facility like this. I'm so disappointed with their service and would not recommend this place to anyone. Please go to a different location. Stay away from this one.

I've been waiting on my prescription for a month because the doctors I got via this planned parenthood wrote the script wrong several times. This is medical discrimination because this is not the first time this has happened. In fact it has happened more often then not. I'm extremely upset with how the doctors have treated me here.

The receptionist was very kind from the beginning. I was nervous and anxious since I was coming in for a medical abortion, but they were so kind that it made it a lot easier. I asked all the questions I had written down to the medical scribe and then I also asked many questions to the doctor. And the ultrasound tech was also very kind and asked me if I had any questions. Once I decided I would rather do an in-clinic abortion, they made the process easy for me to have what would make me feel most comfortable. It was very kind. I will update after Friday.

Don't come here. The receptionist is so rude and unwelcoming which makes you even more anxious about your experience.

The one star is for the front desk people who were extremely kind and patient with me. I really appreciated the one who greeted me, she was amazing. Disclaimer- I am a black woman, a fourth year medical student with a masters of public health. I was extremely unimpressed and worse saddened by my treatment after leaving the waiting room. I chose not to identify myself as a medical student to anyone because you shouldn't have to to receive good care. The medical assistant was rude, did not look in my eyes and asked all the questions that the provider normally asks. I have taken numerous courses on how to treat people with respect and this fulfilled every criteria for what NOT to do. Because she did not put a flag on the door a separate woman entered the room without knocking and then they both started laughing about the confusion which was extremely unprofessional. This other woman was the only person to ask why I was choosing the birth control method I decided. I asked the medical assistant if a Pap test would be possible and she informed me that those were done on a different day. I asked if an alternate method would be available? She responded no and continued her list of question. She left the room swiftly only to come back in and ask about my LMP. The provider came in and confirmed I wanted to have my current method removed and started to put on her gloves. There was no dialogue, no discussion of my thought process. The truth is- if a medical assistant is going to function as the provider that's fine. If they are going to complete the history, sounds good to me. BUT if they are going to be the sole person you talk to, they should learn how to deal with patients. Learn how to be compassionate and listen and not go down a checklist. And a provider should ask open ended questions. I understand more than most what it's like to see patients and be busy. But my experience was unacceptable and inhumane. Would my treatment have been different if I were white? Looking at other reviews of this siteProbably. Will I ever return or recommend that my future patients go to this planned parenthood? Never!

Very kind staff, very clean environment (with space to socially distance and sanitizer available). I appreciate this place very much, and would recommend their services.

This review is for administrators and office staff. Medical person I dealt with was fine, fair. But administration has no regard for confidentiality or other requests. I paid in full with a credit card and did not want any paperwork going through insurance. Sure enough, it was sent through insurance anyway, why I don't know since it was paid in full on the spot. They ignored my concerns and compromised my confidentiality. And almost a year later I just got an additional bill, for what I have no idea since it was paid in full already. Thanks for nothing, I'm so sorry I ever went to this facility.

I been here before they had great service every time I've come for my visits but today I got really disappointed when I was brought in to a room where they didn't clean up after the last patient. It was very unprofessional and unsanitary I posted the picture but it would not let me write a review for some reason.

Sandra at the front desk is absolutely AMAZING! So personable and made me feel so comfortable for my experience while coming to get something not easy to do done. Alone. She really made me feel safe and comfortable and helped my anxiety. Such a relief having someone at the front desk with such an ability to calm my nerves. Thank you Sandra! You are the best.Update: She got me in super fast and I'm very pleased with the entire staff!
