For as long as we've lived in the area, we intentionally have stayed away from this Stickey in White Plains because of their prices. But on a lazy Sunday after breakfast, hubs and I did the opposite for shits and giggles. Price tags are through the roof. The best one hubs and I saw were $488 for high stools. Hubs and I earn well- but I rather put my dollars towards something more dire. $488 A PIECE? There's no way in hell we're paying that! Different sections make this big space into 'rooms' and the furniture is awesome to look at. I don't mind spending money, I just don't like wasting money- because there are a lot furniture stores that we've been fortunate with and still own from: Pottery Barn, West Elm- hell...even Macy's. I'm not one to knock down outlandish prices but this, is beyond reproach. I get it, there's a price point for everyone- but this, doesn't jive with me.

Maybe a bit unfair, but I thought the massive 'going out of business' sale would bring prices back to earth.Nice furniture, but... out of my range.

I have always been very happy with everything I purchased from Stickley in White Plains . It hurts financially at first but the quality and how well it lasts makes it a really good investment. But I am really writing this because it is so rare to find smart and thoughtful salespersons . Robin has helped me for years . He is an interior designer and understands your budget and transforms your space . If he does insists, because he is not pushy , he is right ! He gives you ideas for everything even if it not furniture .

even though this place is closing they are still trying to scam potential customer.ive visted a few times and have signed up for updates about the closing. a salesperson greets me and asked if in had ever been here before, I said no ive never been here before to see what they would say. they went on to tell me Lamps and accessories were discounted an additional %10 though on the coupon i recieved it said Lamps and accessories were additionally discounted 30% off. So if i didnt have my advertisement/coupon I would have paid extra. the sales person TRIED to take advantage of me because she thought I was naive. scammers even when they are closing this location. also this whole store closing seems like a planned tactic we will see if they really leave this location or it was just a fib.

Purchased new couch and chair ($10,000+) recently, furniture is top class but customer service department is absolutely horrible assuming you can ever talk to someone. Contacted sales rep on April 17 about cushions, he confirmed that we ordered extra firm and believe we were delivered regular. He said we just need to order the right cushions, said he would contact customer (lack of) service and make it right. We also called customer service directly and after many voice mails without a return phone call we actually talked to a live person. "Customer Service" representative said she would follow up and contact us. TWO MONTHS later we have heard absolutely nothing, left at least 6-8 voice mails and nothing in return. Even our sales rep cannot get a response from "customer (lack of) service. I do not even know if an order was placed, they have not confirmed or replied. Obviously no scheduled date. No problem taking our money for the new item, but follow up service? Non-existent.

I placed an order for a sofa and loveseat set in November 2022 (it’s now June 2023) and they delivered them with two different leather colors. They took the sofa back and promised to rush a replacement to me, but it has now been 2 months and nothing has been delivered. The salesperson never replies to my emails or texts, forcing me to go in person to deal with the manager. I would appreciate better communication.

We ordered a bed from our salesperson Jane back in JULY and put a down payment on it. We got absolutely no word from her for months. I called this location a few times and finally got a response from a manager who told me the bed would be delivered in February. I have yet to receive any outreach from this store about my purchase and here we are, almost 7 months later and I find myself having to initiate outreach to get a status update on our bed. We were told that production times are long, which is fine, but why is no one communicating with us about our purchase? If I didn’t reach out, would anyone have reached out to us at all? Won’t be shopping here again - such a disappointment.

Unfortunately the workmanship on Stickley furniture has declined pretty severely - I wish that I did not buy a couch and loveseat from them. Look at the puckering on the seams and poor fit of the couch cushions in the photos!Update: Stickley service sent out someone to look at the couches. He joked the workmanship is so bad they must be using child labor :). He said he would file a report and I have followed up a couple of times and gotten no reply. So not only will you get bad quality furniture but you'll also get poor customer service!

I bought a couch March 2022. Stickley has a wonderful collection. Christian, the salesperson, was very helpful, patient and informative. I took advantage of the of the complementary delivery assessment service. A representative came to the home to take measurements of the front door, hallways and inner doors. The representative concluded that the couch would not fit. This was very disappointing since this was the perfect couch found after 2 years of searching. Christian did not take this news lightly. He went out of his way and came to our home to take his own measurements. He compared the measurement to the couch at the store and concluded that it should fit. We decided to move forward with the delivery. We are happy to report that the couch was easily delivered with no complications. Very pleased with the couch and the service. If it wasn't for Christian, we would not have moved forward with the purchase.

Although I know that we have to wait longer for deliveries these days , I did not appreciate the total lack of communication from the store . I had to keep calling them after 6 months had passed, and even though I was told I would get a call back from someone, it never seemed to happen . My salesperson never called back , even when messages were left . I felt like she dropped me the moment the sale was made. I have shopped at Stickley previously, but this was sadly, the last time . The delivery people were awesome ... called when they said they would , and showed up promptly. Too bad the store couldn't be more like them .

If you are looking for beautiful, quality furniture Stickley is the place to go. The large showroom includes samples from traditional to modern. You are greeted as you walk in and can be assigned a decorator to help you with your search. I firmly agree that you get what you pay for and this furniture is pricey, but it is well made and will last a lifetime, if cared for. A special thanks to Diane Fox for her advise, guidance and patience in assisting us with our furniture search.
