What i don't like about target. Is the fact they let people go in and buy out the entire shelf and don't leave anything for anyone else. To have people flip products 3 to 4x the amount. There should be a lock system on trading cards and limits on them. Pokemon hobby had been ruined by scalpers.

Everything is behind glass doors. Then it takes st least 10 minutes to find someone to open those glass doors. Almost everyone who works here is not nice or pleasant or just doesn’t know anything. The lines for the cashier are ALWAYS ridiculously long. This is mostly because there are only ever 1-2 cashiers. Or they expect us to check ourselves out. So not only do I have to pay but, I have to do their jobs too. The store is ALWAYS a mess. Especially the main entry where the returns and online order pickups occur. Sad. The management of the White Plains location is horrendous. I would fire everyone and start over. It’s that bad. If there was ANYWHERE else similar to Target I would shop there without hesitation. Literally, the ONLY thing they have going for them is that they’re the only game in town. Again, sad. This Target should be ashamed.

This Target is extremely ghetto. Every time I come here there are teens fighting, stealing, & playing in the store. There is NEVER enough employees on the floor to help and the ones who are barely speak English. The front end manager Alexander has horrible customer service! 0 out of 10 stars would not recommend!

Target store at 9 City Center is great to shop at! I found what I needed 1/21 quickly & at the price I wanted to pay, and got back home in a jiffy!

Bullseye selection is horrible! So much is locked up because of theft. But no one has a keynor a walkie. Of all the Targets in Westchester…this is the worst.

If I can help it, I try to do as much brick and mortar shopping as I can. I had a short amount of free time and used it to run in and grab a few things I have been needing.
At 4 pm on new year's day there was one person working the check out. After waiting over 5 minutes for one person to check out and noting there were 4 more people in front of me, I realized I wouldn't have time to wait and ditched my cart. I passed three people in red shirts chatting on my way out. I guess I will be ordering from Amazon instead.

Products were behind theft glass, nobody answered the call to open them. Left empty-handed, wouldn't come back.

Called several times to try and get some help with figuring out the availability of a product because the app kept saying it wasn’t in stock and then it was. Basically, I just wanted literally anyone to say yeah it’s here or no it’s not. I called multiple departments multiple times and no one answered. How the hell can no one answer the phone!

Tl;dr: Terrible in-store pick-up & bare bones skeletal service desk staff (1 person!) during the holiday season. Be sure to complain loudly to get staff to actually serve you, but be prepared that the service will still be terrible.
Ordered in store pick-up and was there at 11:51 am today, when pickup lines were listed as "low" on the app. When I got there, there was one long line at the returns & pick-ups desk, and only one young girl helping customers behind the desk.
Note that the whole time I was there (a wasted 25-30 min total) there was another employee behind the desk, an old lady simply scanning items from a mountain of clutter and letting NOT ONE but TWO lines of angry customers build up.
5 minutes after I arrive, someone asks if there is a separate pick-up line, and suddenly half a dozen people are in a new line to the side with no employee helping them or promised to arrive anytime soon. The only employee there says she'll have to switch between the 2 lines. She continued to working through the first line and ignoring the second cashierless line entirely.
That was until of course it was finally my turn. Young cashier tells me that she can't do pick-ups and that there's a separate line for that. I explain that there was only one line when I arrived 10 min prior, and that there is still only one cashier working.
Then the woman who started the pick-up line (and got there 5 min after me) continued asking about the second register, so the young girl suddenly "switched" to the other line, for the first time, and did in fact take care of her pick-up order.
EVEN THOUGH SHE JUST TOLD ME SHE COULDN'T DO PICK-UPS. EVEN THOUGH I WAS THERE BEFORE THE CUSTOMER SHE PRIORITIZED. Maybe it was because that customer complained more vocally.
Moral: Be prepared to COMPLAIN LOUDLY BECAUSE IT'LL DRASTICALLY IMPROVE YOUR SERVICE LEVELS, which will still be terrible.
The young girl tells me she can't work on multiple pick-up bar codes at once, disappears for 10-15 min, comes back with 2 items, says she needs to find one more time, disappears for another 5-10 min. The other customer (who she was "helping") leaves.
The short manager finally finishes working through the first line, then got to me. Young employee returns with another item while the 'manager' was helping me, and slowly moves around behind the desk, processing that the other customer left, while the line continued to grow. Target's inadequate staffing levels were not helped by the complete lack of any sense of urgency from what 1-2 employees were actually 'helping' customers in this high traffic department. It felt like waiting in line at the post office.
Overall disgraceful, demoralizing shitshow

Not enough employees to help in the store. Some deals not as advertised be careful!

Terrible customer service experience. The pickup orders are never ready no matter if the App sends notifications and emails. Expect looong waiting times and bad attitude from the personnel.

Management/leadership is unfortunately very disorganized and not supportive to employees here. Not sure if this is a larger issue with Target but sad to see this is the case at this location.
