Long lines. Lone worker. Worse still…Lost my international priority package. It didn’t make it to the airport for 4 days for what is a 3 -4 day total delivery. And then went cold.

I moved away 7 years ago and returned to visit family. I had to go to the post office and nothing has changed. Different people but same rude and unsavory behavior! I can only assume this behavior is part of the job requirement.

This post office is only open when the employees feel like it. If the weather is bad, I don't even bother and go straight to the one on Fisher Ave. The emergency phone number on the front door is disconnected.

This post office is always dirty; filthy floor mats and windows as well. Mailing material is all over the place, is not tidy or organized at all.
The workers are not friendly or helpful. Some have more bad attitudes than others.
It’s really sad and almost frustrating being a customer there. I don’t blame people for not doing business there.
No one takes pride at their work, specially the branch manager. Their lunch time period are very ridiculous long!

This post office is closed 1 out of 3 times that i go. I always wait till about 10 am but today it was closed again. Always some excuse as to why they were closed.

And the award for rudest and worst employees in USPS history goes to (or worst employees LITERALLY ANYWHERE) is…this White Plains USPS. I will never go back to this place with the nastiest employees I’ve ever encountered.

Saturday Morning April 6 was refused service by the front desk agent. She said I have to many letters to mail (19) and she doesnt have to do it!

Came to drop off a package at 1:00pm on 4/3/24. Sign on the door that said out to lunch until 2:30pm. Must be nice to get an hour and 30 minute break. New employee perks at USPS?

Was fortunate to go in when a worker was available and no other customers. I wanted to quickly send a return receipt letter......"nope. No postcards to do that go to Fisher Ave...."

We just filed a complaint with the USPS directly online. I recommend others do the same so maybe they look into this place. They had the notorious out to lunch sign up again at 4:15pm, while they close at 5. This place has been like this forever and no one does anything about it. I believe one of the workers may have retired who had a really poor attitude all the time and made you feel like she was doing you a favor by doing her job. There is a new young lady who is very nice, when you catch her. But this issue with out to lunch at crazy times, as well as closing before 5 on many occasions, leaving people with no option but to go to UPS and pay more is out of control. Horrible way to do business, but then again welcome to our government lately.

Came here today, 12/27/23, at 2.15pm and there was already the notorious "out to lunch be back at 3:30 Thank you!" sign. USPS should seriously look into the operations of this branch and supervise it. With Donna not there anymore, the new person takes 2-hour lunches whenever they please
