Horrible.If I could give 0 stars I would have. I had a haircut and a color gloss done with the owner Vasken. He mentioned to me that he got divorced when doing my hair and seemed very bitter about it.Then he asked me out and when I refused he a took picture of my hair and began offending me and calling me ugly.Vasken, I think going to therapy before serving clients would help.You are projecting too many of your own insecurities and issues on them.

Long review - in short, schedule your appointment!!!!!
I just loved getting my hair done at Vasken Salon - Ayshen did a phenomenal job styling my hair for a Sunday evening event, so much so that I got so countless compliments throughout the entire evening and week thereafter (many of which were coming from my husband). She made me look and feel so beautiful, and it managed to stay exactly as styled for the next 24 hours!!
I came a second time just a month ago, when I decided to chop about a foot of hair, and she once again made me look and feel glamorous while giving me a cut which was perfect for the summer. She also took great care to listen to what I was looking for and while at it calmed my nerves, which were quite high seeing as I hadn’t had my hair so short since 2019!!
I also had a chance to meet Vasken, who was just as warm and kind as Ayshen. I’m still smiling as I write this review - and I know I’ll be smiling even more when I go back in next! :)

Unal is an outstanding hair stylist. He listens, pays close attention to detail, and has exceptional talent and skills. I have wavy and thick hair, he beautifully cut by adding the layers. The salon is one of the best in Westchester County professional, and welcoming.I highly recommend Unal. He is professional, talented, and passionate about his work.

We love this salon, an absolute must go! My mom and I have been twice now and each time has been a positive experience. We’ve both received incredible hair coloring and haircuts, extremely pleased and exceeding our expectations! A testament to how friendly and accommodating the staff and stylists are would be my experience today when I unexpectedly had to bring my 3 month old with me. She woke up crying halfway through my haircut and Vasken swooped in and strolled her around the salon until she fell back to sleep. All around a warm and welcoming environment and I would 10/10 recommend.

Pleasant experience. Very satisfied with both cut and color. A bit too much of a wait between color and cut. Hairstylist commented that appointments were booked too far apart (??).

The cut I received from Mauro was wonderful! I have gray hair and wanted to avoid "an old woman" haircut. He gave me a great cut with movement and the perfect length. Plus, the products recommended are doing what I have been looking for. So happy to have found you!

I have been going to Vasken for 20 years - it is a beautiful atmosphere with friendly staff - I always enjoy a cappuccino and/or a water on my visits. Vasken's work on my color is so natural that I can go 6 months between appointments and it still looks good as it grows. Aysen cuts my hair and is fantastic. She understands what I am trying to do with it and the texture of my hair, and cuts it so it is easy to manage. I highly recommend them.

Unfortunately I was there 2 times and Vasken comes off like a car salesman trying to sell you everything ,You would think how high his fees are that you would get a personalized service without the low budget salesman vibe but he's doing 3 people at once making you sit and wait for sub par services and charging you ridiculous prices. Even the people who blow out your hair try and sell you useless products no matter how many times you tell them you’re not interested.Definitely not a high end salon it just has high end prices.I definitely do not recommend this place.

Ayshen is the best there is for a fabulous cut and blow dry. She’s amazing! When she does my hair even strangers have come up to me and commented on how great it looks. She is highly trained in Europe and has a unique style of cutting hair. I have fine straight hair. Ayshen has cut it over many years and many styles. It always looks gorgeous and effortless.. Arta excels at creating just the color you want. She listens to what you like and makes it happen.
