Very disappointed. I'm not confident that they know how to diagnose & repair a real problem for your Volvo. My Volvo had to be towed and repaired twice for engine overheating within the last 6 weeks only to experience the same problem and needing to be towed again a third time.At this point, I think they may be able to only do regular service, but I will be searching for another place that is actually able to repair cars. They also can not supply a loaner unless you book months in advance. Their facility is shiny though ...

This Volvo location does the Volvo name a disservice due to their poor customer service. I don't know if they are short staffed or if they just don't care, but whatever it is it is not good. I called Volvo in Ramsey, N.J. and got immediate help.. I live closer to White Plains but I don't recommend using their service department because they never get back to you.

Atrocious customer service. Twice now I’ve trusted them and twice they’ve managed to be the worst.First time was getting body work done and they completely dropped the ball and delayed everything by a month.Second time was routine service (car was supposed to get picked up, no one ever came, no one answering any of the phones in service, including the managers). Go somewhere else!

Absolutely Terrible! The service department always has major opportunities with regards to communication, transparency, loaner availability and service time slots. I have had three terrible and inexcusable experiences at this location with only one decent experience. It shouldn’t take 1 week+ to get a tire change on a new car even if you are willing to wait the “2hours”

Horrible customer service. Horrible communication. Stay as far away from this place as possible. They don't care about the safety of your vehicle and do not return phone calls or emails. I had to repeatedly call and email just to get a phone call back from someone in service.Highly recommend Volvo in Ramsey instead! They fixed my issue within 24 hours. Will not be returning to Volvo white plains for our next lease! Would love to give my business anywhere else.

'Not good' was the lowest rating allowed here. Awful, terrible, & lying scammers is a bit more appropriate for this place. White Plains Volvo Totally screwed us over. We kept up with the maintenance whenever it was called for, but they DID NOT. because they FAILED to do the service that was called for on my SUV, Everything started breaking down on the truck. We finally went to a Service center in Connecticut & What a Wonderful Experience it was. They are taking care of my truck AND they gave me a Loner!!! DO NOT GO TO WHITE PLAINS FOR YOUR VOLO MAINTENANCE! AND it was under Warranty!

Buying a car at Volvo Cars White Plains was the worst car purchasing experience I have ever had. They pulled the old "bait and switch" routine, which was well rehearsed from the salesperson to the sales managers. What a sleazy operation!

My S60 is under warranty with less than 4,000 miles and went into turtle mode, was toward top Volvo after speaking with service do they would expect it. After a week it still has not been inspected nor have any inquiries been answered. I'm thinking Acura...

5 stars due to Elijah in service helping me out with a quick issue relative to a part I had just purchased. A small kindness went a long way! Thank you!

Volvo Service White Plains gets high marks based on my experience with Lina. She navigated with the warranty company and with my insurance to make sure my repairs were covered. She also kept me calm during the entire process.Lina calls back when promised, e mails to keep you up to date, etc. Working with LIna made me feel I had a personal advocate in the service department. Highly recommend working with Lina

After my entire electrical system started malfunctioning after a heavy storm, I brought it to Volvo Service. Lina was my "service counselor" and made the entire experience seamless. From navigating with the extended warranty company to dealing with my insurance, Lina handled everything. Most importantly, Lina called back when she promised, e-mailed if she could not reach me, and constantly stayed in touch during the entire process. She did this all with a warm professional touch that kept me calm throughout. She is a real asset and the primary reason for giving a 5-star rating.

Had an absolutely awful experience at white plains Volvo. We had an agreement on the phone where Sam confirmed a price, so we went in to wrap everything up and he refused to honor the verbally agreed upon price. We waited 45 minutes initially, and ended up walking out. Total waste of time. Mike the sales manager is just as dishonest and my husband I are we're disgusted with how disrespectful the whole experience was. Go to Riley Volvo in Stamford instead - much better experience there.

My wife and I are interested in purchasing a used Volvo and I saw this dealership had 10 of the model we were interested in listed in their used car inventory. I made arrangements for an appointment to test drive a car (I picked the first one in the list) via email with someone. A few hours later I get a call from a sales guy telling me the car we wanted to test drive has been sold so I said, "fine, we just want to test drive that model, you have like 10 on the lot." He then tells me they are all sold and I ask why they are listed on their website and he tells me they are listed until the buyer picks them up. Talk about bait and switch? And the guy (I didn't get his name) was a dick in general. Glad we didn't waste our time here and I guess I should have check the reviews on Yelp first. (Also, I see this dealership at this address is listed twice so I'm going to post this review in both places!)

On September 20, 2023, I purchased a "Certified Volvo" from White Plains Volvo, assured it passed a thorough 170-point inspection and was in near-new condition, including new brakes. Nine days later, upon the vehicle's arrival in Arizona, discrepancies arose. On October 3rd, an inspection at a Gilbert, AZ Volvo Dealership highlighted: 1. A non-functional driver-side mirror motor. 2. Cracked interior wood paneling. 3. A significant 4-inch curb rash on the passenger side rim 4. Shockingly, the front brake pads were worn down to 3mm and 4mm, under the safe 5mm threshold. This vehicle's "certified" status is not just misleading but hazardous. Now, I'm faced with unanticipated costs: $438.95 for brake pads, previously promised as new, and $882.76 for a rim. My trust in the "Certified Volvo" label has been shattered by these issues and unforeseen expenses. This isn't just a breach of trust and safety, but a deviation from the standards expected of a reputable dealership let alone the Volvo brand that prides itself on "safety". I demand redress from White Plains Volvo for this grave misrepresentation and its financial implications. The BBB must be aware of such deceitful practices to protect future consumers. I trust the BBB will address this with utmost seriousness.

Luigi was AWESOME! He was so kind and welcoming, like running into an old friend. He immediately put me at ease. I felt prioritized and heard. He took his time to answer all my questions and really made my experience a great one.I just bought my preowned Volvo in June. I heard a concerning noise so I took it in to the service center early on a Monday morning. I called ahead and was told they didn’t have any appointments until that Friday, but I could go in and wait, and they would squeeze me in whenever possible. The waiting area was comfortable and clean, and they had fancy snacks and Perrier waters. I only waited about 2-3 hours, which I thought was pretty reasonable considering. Luigi made sure to keep me updated on the status of my vehicle while I waited.Since I had the time I ran across the street and visited my salesperson Niki, and she chatted with me for a good 20 minutes.I’ve been very pleased with my experiences at Volvo White Plains thus far. People like Luigi and Niki are what make it. The cherries on top!
