Stopped by yesterday to have an assessment. Nora couldn't be more helpful in finding the best sneaker for my foot-strike. She took the time to clearly discuss and pull a variety of sneakers that would suit me. Walked out with my new Ghost 15's in hand and a very happy camper. In the age of Amazon, customer service like this doesn't exist. Please support this wonderful small business!

I am so pleased with my experience at this store!! I’m a newer runner and was due for new shoes for an upcoming half marathon. Barry was super knowledgeable and really took his time fitting me for the perfect shoe for my needs. It was such a nice and personalized shopping experience. Also, they have a great return policy if the shoes don’t end up working for you (if used indoors/on a treadmill). I’m confident that I got the best shoe for me.

I came in looking for trail running shoes and Harbert is one of the best running store employees I’ve ever interacted with. He pulled 8 or 9 different pairs for me and he was very patient while I tried on every pair. He listened as I told him what I felt with each shoe and he tried to figure out what worked best for me. We also had a really nice chat throughout about our running experiences. In the end, I didn’t find a shoe that fit me best (which is of no fault of Hobart)— he even helped me find a store that might carry more options for me to try. Hobart said to me that his main concern is that I find a shoe that works for me right out of the box so that all I have to do is enjoy my run. I’m so impressed and so glad I finally found a running store I can trust. I’ll be back for my road running needs for sure. Highly recommend for anyone looking to be fitted for running shoes!

Had a great experience here. I am new to running, in training for my first longer distance event. I needed to replace my current shoes. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and dedicated to making sure I found the right shoe. They helped me find the right shoe & I look forward to coming back to purchase additional shoes/running supplies. The postive expereince has me event more excited to continue my running journey.

This was the first time we visited the Westchester Road Runner store in White Plains. The experience was great, amazing, and humbling. They have an experienced runner at the store that will dedicate his time to make sure you have the most comfortable sneakers for running. Our son was very happy with the advice and guidance the professional runners gave. We are very appreciative and grateful to see our son really happy and ready for his varsity cross country this fall. The service here is amazing. The staff really work with you to find footwear that fits properly. Pretty uncommon to find service at this level these days.

Adam was so helpful and I had the best experience. He brought out several options after discussing my gait and needs. I was torn! I wish I could’ve bought 3 pairs, I loved them all ❤️ I also left my old sneakers in the donation bin which felt nice. I can’t wait to return next year.

Go elsewhere! These people take advantage of new runners and offload old inventory for the same list price the shoes were 3 years ago. Check online and I could have gotten the same shoes for $100 less. Do not go to this store.

I have bought maybe 60 pairs of running shoes in my life. Never a problem never a complaint. New shoes same as last pair updated model. Left heal started bleeding about a week in. Tried to double sock adjust tie pad over heal.....went back to store was helpfully shown a new way to tie laces. Tried off and on 4 times letting hole close and every time strait away hole in now both heals. Went in and they would do nothing for me. I have never had this issue they basically told me its my feet. I guess the other shoes were all just luck. Never again. If they would have offered even a small credit Iwould have felt heard. Why bother to go local i can get this treatment online. Left shoes and quietly walked out

For 20 years, my sister and brother-in-law have been buying their running shoes here. It didn't matter once it became just as convenient, easier, or cheaper to buy them online, they wanted to support a local business. So, when I visited from the West Coast this week and needed new shoes, they naturally recommended them. It took quite awhile to find the right pair, as my usual "go to" shoes didn’t work. I did find one, though, and after wearing them in the store and at their suggestion, walking outside in the front of the store, I came back inside to pay. The shoes sat in the box for 2 days; when I put them on to run, they didn't feel right. So, I immediately back to the store to return them. Then and only then, did they tell me that I could only get an exchange or store credit. I showed them that I had not used them at all, but to no avail. I totally understand a policy that prevents people from returning used shoes, but not one which penalizes someone who did not wear them. When I reminded Adam where I live, he suggested that my sister or brother-in-law could buy the credit from me. So, yes, they will get another "sale" out of our family, but in the process, they have lost 2 good customers. I hope they rethink their policy and its true "cost" to their business.
