White Plains Public Library is a beloved community space that has been serving visitors for many years. It is known for its friendly and helpful staff, who are patient and take the time to get to know visitors, especially children. The library offers a clean, quiet, and modern environment that many people find pleasant and well-maintained. It features a variety of activities and programs, such as story-time with themed songs, toy-time with different toys, and engaging music classes in the auditorium that get children moving and having fun.
The library is also appreciated for its efficient service, allowing visitors to quickly get a library card and check out books. It is a popular spot for reading and relaxing, with many coming early or staying for hours. The addition of a small cafe provides a convenient place to get food, and there is a bookstore for book lovers. The library's hours are convenient, and it offers plenty of computers for public use.
However, some reviews mention concerns about security staff, noting that their approach could be more respectful, especially toward older visitors. Despite this, the library remains a favorite for many, offering a great place for all ages to learn, read, and enjoy community programs.
I love this library. The only bumpy part is some slight connectivity issues but otherwise ALWAYS an A+ experience

In need of major updates. Great resource but it feels outdated and dingy.
