I grew up having the grandma subs , in yt 60's now. Moved to another state and each time I go back to NY I have to pick up any where from 15 to 25 of these subs to bring home. This last time I was shocked to see that they changed the rolls. Not the same for me any more. Hope you return to the old style sub rolls. If you do I will be getting them again, but until then no

It’s very sad to see Putorti‘s Broadway market has been sold. We were all very excited in our household sad to see the old owners leave but excited to see what the new owners would be doing in our town. We’ve been going to the store for many many years. We often eat here 3 sometimes 4 nights a week. The staff has always been friendly and are always greeting their customers with a smile and treating the community like family. Since the store has been sold things have not been the same they have changed their potato chips, their grinder rolls, the way they make a lot of the food, and I personally feel the way they treat the community as a whole. The first time we ordered from there being regulars that live right down the street we ordered our normal meal that we would always get 12 inch grinder, Shaved turkey, mayonnaise, American cheese, black olives, and sweet pickles, Heated. What we got was a cold 12 inch grinder with no black olives but sweet pickles on it we called right away because it was very odd because we live down the street and we are so regular to the store that every employee there knows the order because we order it 3 to 4 nights a week. They offered right away to replace the grinder and we refuse graciously and said no we just wanted to let someone be aware that it was made wrong so it would not be in the future. Since then we’ve eaten there 4 more times and every single time the grinder is made wrong when it’s supposed to be heated it is cold when you ask for sweet pickles you get sweet peppers often missing onions missing black olives lettuce cut really thick and it’s also just concerning that the owner has told me personally several times that he was getting UTZ Brand potato chips and still has not done so instead he has something called uncle Ray’s which is not bad but it’s not like it used to be there anymore. I know myself personally I’ve done a lot of grocery shopping every month faithfully for years there because Fairhaven is so far away I choose to shop in town but I can no longer do that any more because things aren’t the same there any longer. Not only have their prices increased, the food, and the way they make the food, also the way they listen to their customers has completely changed. Our family ordered another grinder tonight hoping that this is going to be perfect this time they’ve been working the store long enough maybe now they’re listening to what the customers needs and wants and they’re gonna get it right but we were disheartened when we brought home the sub and instead of having mayonnaise on it there was oil which we did not order and was loaded and sweet peppers we did not order. Well aware that the Putorti‘s felt it was time to let the store go it’s just sad to see that it has gone to somebody that does not treat the community like family anymore. For this exact reason companies that are community companies should be sold to somebody in the community because when companies are sold to somebody outside of the community that warm, loving, friendly, family like feeling leaves the community. #Heartbreaking
