“I couldn’t have asked for a better experience getting my wedding tuxedo made. I usually live in basketball shirts and shorts, so walking into a custom tailor shop was honestly a little overwhelming at first. But Onik and his team made the entire process incredibly simple, comfortable, and personable. What really stood out to me was how much they were willing and able to customize. If you could think of it, they could probably create it. I was able to choose from different fabrics, including lighter options that were perfect for my summer wedding, experiment with different styles, and even add custom images to the lining of my tuxedo to make it truly personal. Having different styles available to see and try on made it so much easier to figure out exactly what I wanted. Another huge plus was the convenience. Since they were local, I was able to stop in whenever I had questions, wanted to make adjustments, or simply wanted to take another look at the styling. They were always patient and helpful throughout the process. The final tuxedo came out exactly how I wanted, and it made the wedding day feel that much more special. If you’re someone who doesn’t know much about suits or custom tailoring, I especially recommend giving them a visit. “Lindsey Risk has an impeccable eye for fit and she knows what works on my frame. Belts like the vintage Oscar de la Renta I treasure were chosen to fit with a handmade, no name vintage gown from the early 1960s with dark lace and gold brocade. Lindsey pinned and cut the dress on my body and two week later it was back. Lining was redone, including original lead weights on the hems. I wore it to Risk’s 10th anniversary party, in Palm Spring on my birthday, to the ballet and to the opera. I LOVE this dress! I’ve bought archival pieces I rewear again and again like a black, vintage Issey Miyake cape from an estate of a very glamorous woman. The best is the no name vintage, like the chocolate brown shearling hooded coat I got on the coldest day in Jan, 2024 because it’s not about designers for Risk it is about the well made, the old, the treasured and eccentricity.”

L.L. Bean, the Maine-based retailer famous for its boots and backpacks, is opening four new U.S. stores this year and plans to expand into the Southeast and Midwest markets in 2025.
