I needed my car fixed in an emergent situation due to an unexpected health issue with my husband. Bob was kind enough to allow me to bring the car in to be checked and possibly squeeze it into their very busy schedule. The car was fixed in two days and we are eternally grateful for his sympathy to our situation. Thank you Bob, and Dave Smith Ford!

Was looking at a vehicle there but the sales man wouldn't come down in price...then I looked at website again to find out he lowered it by $2000. Then you hung up on me when I told you I bought a different vehicle. Really dude....you just lost a customer and everyone else I would have sent there. Good job!

I'll try to make a long story short...I reserved a Ford F-150 Lightning online and the process over 12+ months with Mike in Sales was good. Once the delivery date in May 2022 was known, however, I could not work out a reasonable trade-in value even working with Dave Smith himself. I ended up selling the trade in to CarMax for $7,000 more than Dave offered (!). This was a major inconvenience when I was only looking for wholesale value on the trade.Since delivery, Dave Smith Ford is a challenge to even get a response from. It usually takes multiple calls and e-mails to get a simple answer. On recalls where parts are in short supply, there is zero follow up. Much of the staff is just following a script when they do call with little to no knowledge of the vehicle they are calling about. Today I got a call about scheduling an 'oil change' on my EV truck.I have switched to doing all my recalls/service - that I don't DIY - with West Herr Ford. I'm a West Herr customer on the Hyundai side and they are actually more proactive on my Lightning than Dave Smith Ford. They sent a mobile tech to my house to do the recalls for the wiper motor and dash tray. On time and done in 45 minutes.I wasn't going to even do this review but the 'oil change' call was the straw that broke the camel's back. I don't usually do reviews unless I want to recognize good products or service. This, however, is done as a potential warning to others that your post sale experience may be 'typical car dealer' vs excellent service that some dealers actually do provide.

When I was changing 4 new tires at Goodyear, they told me that their NYS inspection system was down, and I must wait for several days to complete the inspection. But it was the end of the month. I ran into Dave Smith Ford and explained my situation. They kindly squeezed me in for the NYS inspection. their help is greatly appreciated.

Carmen is the best salesperson I have ever met!I'm 65 and had been looking for months for a Ford F150 specific color and options and found it at Dave smith ford best price low miles but was 2150 miles away...Carmen provided me with everything I needed to make an informed decision over the internet so I flew to NY from AZ Carmen had everything ready for me to sign very efficient then Matt in finance was ready very quick and easy took maybe 1 hour and I was done! Everything thing from start to finish including my beautiful 2018 F150 in magma red has exceeded my expectations! And honestly how often can you say that these days.....J. Mix

Great experience at Dave Smith Ford! Kyle and Matt were both very helpful and answered all of my questions. Kyle went through the entire vehicle prior to the test drive. And Matt was great with the financial end of things. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new Ford!

I had an oil change and tire rotation for my Ford Explorer. The initial receptionist was very friendly and had my appointment scheduled in less than 5min since I picked up the phone. Always welcoming staff and everything was completed in about an hour. Great experience altogether!

Bought a car, about a year later, brakes go and starts to rub on the metal. I put less than 10,000 miles on the car before it started happening. They can't do anything about it. Manager says he can help with the internals, whatever that means. Don't buy a car here for anyone. Go to an ACTUAL dealership.

I had an oil change and tire rotation which went well and quick. But I am giving 2’stars because I told the service people that my muffler was making a noise. The guy who helped me said that it did sound like it was going. And they would look at it.When my car was ready they said I was all set. The guys only said it the noise gets worse bring it back. They did nothing with the muffler, a quote etc. I was told instead if it got worse to bring it back. I told the guy it was getting worse and that was why I wanted it check. I don’t think I will be coming back to Ford. I have been with Ford for over 10 years and never had a issue. I am very disappointed!!

I’d give my most recent experience with the service department a 0 star experience if I could. Unfortunately, my vehicle was assigned to Service Advisor Dolly Bailey. I was bringing my vehicle in because my 2021 Bronco that I custom ordered from Dave Smith would not run inspection through a brand new inspection machine & would not give any reason why (my family owned a repair corporation for 5 generations that I also ran). I also had asked when making the appointment the status of a part that was on order since March for a recall because I have surgery coming up and won’t be able to get my car there myself, so want to plan ahead. Dolly was not welcoming at all immediately upon arrival- had me with my broken foot pull in my vehicle, etc. Once my car was done, I cashed out with someone else and noticed my inspection sheet wasn’t there (and I also had no receipt stating everything done- including the specific computer update they needed to do to run the inspection, which was why it wouldn’t run before). I asked if it was in the car and she asked Dolly and Dolly immediately yelled from her desk “it didn’t print”. That’s it. I said oh well I want it for my records (it is required for any service center to give it to me) but she just kept stating it didn’t print instead of going back and asking the tech to simply print it. I then asked for the info the service manager told me on the phone said would be available regarding where I fall in the parts on order list for my call. I didn’t ask for when, or to bump me up, or anything else. Just where on the list so I had an idea.She just kept saying “it’s ordered - they’ll call you” over and over. During this time she finally asked a tech that walked in about my inspection sheet - which he came back in literally one second with- because it miraculously had been printed and he simply left it on the machine. She should NOT be in customer service. I’ve DONE HER JOB. Who knows what she’s telling people that aren’t familiar with cars, their rights on documentation, and how she treats people with more questions than me.I now work for a global company. We all face back ups, etc. but Dolly simply doesn’t want to do her job. In fact two other employees told me “they’ve been having issues with her”. How she treats customers is unacceptable and not only should she be embarrassed- but Dave Smith Ford should be embarrassed for keeping her around with how she treats customers.

This Dave Smith Ford is incredible! Always fast and friendly service and they always ensure that all my questions are answered clearly. Most importantly, I have found them to be extremely honest, unlike some other places I've had experiences with in the past. I highly recommend getting your vehicle serviced here.

Daughter is 3+ hours away from home visiting Buffalo and breaks down. Called this service shop about having the car towed in. Told them I know its a holiday weekend, no rush on it, let me know when you can do it. Was told “It’s over 10 years old and we haven’t serviced it since new so we won’t even look at it”…hello Ford service, Ford product….sorry I didn’t know 12 years ago that my daughter would break down 3+ hours from home or I surely would have had you service it for me remotely.I truly hope if one of your kids has a breakdown far from home that they find a service shop willing to help them rather than just shrug and tell them its not their problem.
