A bunch of scammers trying to pose as a “debt collector” to try and say you owe them money from companies you became past due with and the 7 years passed. Nice try, idiots! The one you’re trying to say I “owe” for is over 7 years old and not on my credit report. Report this scammy company and report any emails you get, even if they show up in Spam folder (which it did in my case).

LMAO, just use a heavy asian accent when you call them back, the woman who answered said she'd take me right off of the list since I was clearly the wrong party ? problem solved.

Bottom feeders. Even after you tell them to stop contacting you they do. Hope their building burns down.

Hopping on the bandwagon here - fraudulent company. I received “a bill” from spectrum stating that I had bills due well after an account was closed and verified as closed. Their voicemail box is clearly recorded - not legitimate and funny that they “were assigned” to collect a bill from my old address but the company is close to current address. Also the bill came in very not secure packaging. It looks real but there are CLEAR indications that this is a scam. You do not owe them money. They need to be shut down.

This company is FRAUDULENT. Do NOT pay them!!!I noticed that I had a new collections account on my credit dragging my score down. The original creditor was “Charter Communications” which I had an account with - Spectrum - before moving at the beginning of the year. Supposedly I owed $60 for unreturned equipment. This account was closed, paid in full with a zero balance. No late payments. I called this company first, and attempted to pay them (which was definitely a mistake) and after multiple cards were declined by my bank for fraud, and they requested I contact my bank to let the charge through, I hung up and called Charter/Spectrum and before speaking to a representative the automated system told me I owed $0 remaining. I spoke to a representative and explained the situation, she confirmed that I had no remaining balance for services or equipment on any account in my name. Had never heard of this company before. They also had the wrong email for what the account was under. This company is fraudulent!!!

I received a text this afternoon that looked like a scam. It was a credit agency informing me of a collection from a communications company. I called the collections agency and they said that I had not returned equipment from my previous internet provider. I am renting a room as I moved back to Seattle and have my stuff in storage. Having moved across the cascades in the dead of one of the most snow heavy winters, spectrum has been far from my mind. They sent me no notices. This was the first one I received and, again, it could have easily been dismissed as spam. I have a couple of days to go into my storage and retrieve the missing equipment or my credit will take a hit, as the representative informed me. Wow, I am in shock as this is THE FIRST TIME I'M HEARING ABOUT THIS and it was a text. A text. That's it. Satan must have gotten a bump on his head when you dropped that bar.

The people that work for this debt collection agency are very inept and uneducated in communicating with other human beings. They come at you like a stranger on the street expecting you to give them personal and financial information about yourself, information that they claim to already know, but when you instead inquire as to the reason for their call: they act like you are the stranger trying to mug them and steal they're identity. It's utterly ridiculous how these buffoons stay in business.

I'm afraid I don't feel comfortable working with a company that is unable to adequately explain what they do. Therefore, I'll have to decline any further communication at this time.

Tried to scam small buisnesses. Asked me for the last 4 of my social security number. They're calling from local 716 number so I reported them to Police.

lady on the phone was super nice. communicated who i was in debt too (a company i new i had collections for) and allowed me to split my payment into 2 separate amounts. i know there are a lot of reviews on how they are scammers, but i had a great experience and was knowledgeable on the company i was in debt to :)

i just got a call from this place not knowing what it even was. off the gate the man asks me what was my personal information & my first instinct was to not give it. i asked the man what exactly was the nature of the business he called about & if he was from a debt collecting service, he just wouldn’t answer my question. i had to use an example like “if someone from the social security office called they would state the business they work for” he finally told me just the name nothing more nothing less. i told him i would not give any of my personal information. i checked my call log & saw that the number wasn’t even verified so i looked up the name & saw all these bad reviews. i am so glad i did not give my information.

They won’t even say who they are calling for or why when they leave a message. Don’t call back it’s a scam.
