When the internet service works, it is good. The service technicians are helpful. But, the reliability of Niacom internet is subpar. I have had Niacom for a month and my internet service drops frequently. Service techs have told me that all my equipment is 100% in working order, but there is a networking problem at Niacom that remains unresolved. My connection drops at least once a day now, and I lose internet speed and experience latency frequently. The customer service is also hard to reach after hours and on the weekends. The main way to reach Niacon is to email them, and they do not monitor their email outside of business hours or have a dedicated phone number to call for technical support. Unlike other companies, Niacom does not have 24hour tech support.Had to lower my score for Niacom, they claimed to fix their issue, but the internet dropped again a couple days later.

Billing department terrible. They must be all working at home and never talk to each other. Bad record keeping . No web page to view your account. No service for 3 days when they had power outage.12/23/2022

Very friendly staff. Very knowledgeable staff. Especially Amy Hayward and Nicola! I have never experienced an Internet outage in just less than 2 YRS. JMO? These are two assets and invaluable to NIACOM.

Was very concerned because I lost service 2 days before Christmas and there was a blizzard taking place. I received a personal phone call about the outage. They told me it was an issue with the fiber and that the problem had to be located outside. They actually had it repaired by early afternoon on Christmas Day. Not crazy about the outage but very impressed with how quickly they got it repaired under those conditions!
