My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Debi for almost a year during our home search! From the very beginning, Debi stood out as extremely hardworking, honest, enthusiastic, and supportive!
She was always available for our endless questions, no matter how big or small, and never once made us feel like we were asking too much. I met Debi Lucas at an open house shortly after I began my search for a new home. Debi is the best and truly exceptional! We initially met via the Zillow app after submitting a couple of requests for tours, and she was the first person to get back to us. After learning we were interested in Tudor/Victorian styled houses, Debi recommended we look into the village of Rockville Centre as there are lots of houses like that in that area. We were immediately impressed by her knowledge about the market as well as the proactiveness she demonstrated in her communications with clients. We could always reach her via phone calls or text messages even during off hours, and sometimes even though she couldn’t get back to us immediately, she always let us know when she would be available and that’s something we really appreciated. Since we are both very busy in our day jobs, we prefer texting and phone calls. Debi was able to adapt to our preference, and we felt like she’s always there for us and just a quick text/call away.
Debi is like an encyclopedia who knows everything, everywhere, and everyone in the Rockville Centre area, which was proven to be extremely helpful in our house hunting. For example, Debi has a good relationship with the seller’s agent for the house we eventually bought, and that certainly gave us an edge over some of the other people who were also interested in the house. When we were touring the houses, Debi was able to provide honest and thorough feedback which helped us avoid some of the common pitfalls first-time house buyers like us tend to inadvertently run into.
Debi is truly a “one-stop-shop” for everything we needed in closing the deal which made the process seamless and painless. The real estate banker, inspector, insurance broker and attorney we worked with for our house all came from Debi’s relationships, and they were all very professional and truly the Dream Team. Without Debi, we would have no choice but to try to find these contacts ourselves which would have caused us to spend a lot of extra time. We feel like we were really being taken care of by Debi and her team, and that’s something we did not experience before when we bought our current home. We are very thankful for Debi and everyone she connected us with.
We can tell Debi does not simply view her job as merely a job, but she is someone who really has a passion for what she does. More importantly, we can tell she really does care about her clients on a personal level. Even after we closed the house, Debi still gave us many great advises on things such as renovation, just to make sure we are off to a great start with our new home. She also gave us many recommendations about things to do in Rockville Centre, including restaurants, entertainment venues, and even where/how to pay our utility bills! All these things connected us with Debi on a personal level outside of business.
Debi – thank you so much for all your help! Without you, this process would not have been so smooth and easy. You truly made us feel like we were working with our friend rather than a real estate agent. Thanks again!
