Great experience for oil change service. Was in and out in about 45 mins. Called to book an appointment in advance. They also let you bring your own oil and filter if you prefer that.

Travis is absolutely amazing! I recommend him and brake away to anyone who needs help when it comes to brakes/rotors or just any car issue that they can do!
His customer service is amazing and he’s beyond helpful. Can’t beat the prices either, unlike shops this place isn’t out to take your money. I will be going back to them whenever I need something done. He came right to me and went above and beyond to help me fix the issue at hand.

Our car was broken, a broken alternator. Our car stopped, and ignition was stopped. Travis had a full schedule but he still made time for us. He drove around 1hr 30min to get the parts for everything. We arrived at 9 am, and right now it’s 9pm. Ryan and Travis took all their time in their day to fix our car, and we are so thankful. Also, it’s 9 pm right now. They close at 5 pm which means 4 hr overtime. These guys are awesome and please, go to them if you need to fix your car. You guys are awesome!!! P.S. we have a BMW x3 from 2011 and Travis will get the parts for you whatever car.

Finding a trustworthy mechanic is never easy, but with brake away, I was immediately put at ease. His prices were very reasonable, and he took the time to explain what work needed to be done and why, without making a lay person such as myself feel ignorant.
He seemed to genuinely have a passion for mechanics and automotive engineering, and was happy to answer any questions I had.
This isn’t even mentioning the fact that his services are MOBILE ! So convenient— let Travis at Brake Away know where your car will be parked and your vehicle will be serviced without having to take any time off.
Great business to add to Ithaca and the surrounding areas. I wish it much success in the future!

I had brakes replace today with Brake Away and I must say that it exceeded all my expectations. I absolutely love the convenience of having my brakes replaced at the comfort of my own home. I didn't have to waste time driving to a repair shop or waiting hours for my car to get serviced. Travis is very skilled and knowledgeable. He is attentive to my concerns, patiently answering all my questions, and ensuring that I was fully informed about the repair process. I am incredibly satisfied with the experience and will definitely utilize their services again in the future.

Projects are established but never completed. Wasted a week or more just to have the owner tell me to take it somewhere else. Not recommended if you need something done within a certain timeframe.

I found this service on Yelp. Looked at the website, sent an appointment request and I also called and texted just to make sure my messages went through. They were responsive, helpful and spent time talking through the options and prices for parts. When they arrived, they were very kind and helpful while diagnosing the actual brake system and confirming the work to be performed. My Ford brakes have never been better! I appreciate their time and attention given to the process and the extra care during the assembly. I will be having them come back to do the rear brakes as well! I have referred them and recommend this service!
