Santa's Workshop, North Pole, NY is a Christmas-themed destination that offers a unique and magical experience year-round. Described as the "Christmas Fantasyland and year 'round home of Santa Claus, his live Reindeer Team, Elves, Nativity Pageants, Shows and the frozen North Pole," the attraction is open during the summer, fall, and winter seasons. Visitors can enjoy a variety of fun activities, including a train ride, feeding the reindeer, and exploring the workshop. The staff is praised for their friendly and attentive service, with one reviewer noting that the staff "spoiled my 4 with a lot of attention" and another highlighting the "Christmas magic" of Ms. Terri, who educated visitors about the reindeer. While some aspects of the park, such as the rides and the bakery, could use some improvements, the overall experience is described as a "time capsule" with a charming and nostalgic atmosphere. One reviewer even noted that the "corny" shows and the rundown nature of the park are part of its appeal, as it adds to the unique character of the destination. Families with young children seem to particularly enjoy the park, with one reviewer stating that it is "really ideal for younger children… I would say younger than 10 probably." The park offers a variety of activities, such as making rings at the blacksmith, sliding in Santa's workshop, and exploring the candy shop, which all contribute to the magical and creative Christmas-themed experience. Overall, Santa's Workshop, North Pole, NY is a special and nostalgic place that captures the spirit of Christmas and provides a memorable experience for visitors of all ages.
It was magical for our 3 year-old and nostalgic for me having gone there 35+ years ago. Santa, an ornament ride, carousel, Christmas train, Santa and hot chocolate. Yes, needs more staff and some TLC but it was joyful!

Expensive but worth it if you have children, just dont expect a huge park.
