I stayed back in September and what a lovely place! Buck and Clea are so warm and friendly. I traveled alone and they made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. The room was clean and beautiful. Great water pressure in the shower too! I went downstairs and Buck made me a lovely breakfast of my choice and the next day he made a delicious fratatta! All local fresh ingredients. On my last day they weren’t going to be there in the morning so they made an amazing breakfast burrito and left it in the refrigerator with my name on it! I loved staying her so much that I recently booked my mom a room!

Our second visit to Whiteface Farms exceeded our expectations! We stayed here for our a long weekend. Everything here was charming and lovely, and would highly recommend this experience. There was four of us and we stayed in the large suite. It was quiet and the beds were comfortable. Buck and Clea are gracious hosts and truly made our stay memorable. Buck went above and beyond by preparing ham and egg breakfast burrito and apples for our hike, which was a life saver! The location couldn't be more perfect as its close to Lake Placid and the high peaks of the Adirondack Mountains. The patio hot tub was the highlight of our trip. It was a relief for our tired muscles after a challenging day of hiking Mount Marcy. We woke up to hearty breakfast of fluffy pancakes, fresh maple syrup, strawberries, and homemade apple cinnamon bread – a perfect start to our day.Our pups also had a fantastic time running around on the grass, and everyone was so welcoming and friendly, including the other guests. Thank you again!Rooms: Beds were comfy, rooms were large and quiet.Nearby activities: Hiking, and other outdoor activities.Food & drinks: Everything was homemade and fresh. There was coffee and pastries for the guests all day long.Noteworthy details: Wifi was strong. I saw the other guests enjoying the living room to watch movies at night. Working Hot Tub. Large selection of books and board games.

Buck and Clea were absolutely AMAZING! I cannot say enough great things about our stay here. Very welcoming upon arrival, Buck took us around to show us the house and explain everything to us. The rooms were so cute and quaint, very clean and accomodating to anything extra that you may need during your stay and very communicative with that at anytime of the day/evening. And the BREAKFAST....I didn't know we had an "undercover" chef!!! Breakfast burritos, breakfast poutine, the fluffiest pancakes I've ever had! Local coffee, fruits, homemade baked goods, local maple syrup...we were spoiled! If you are looking for a great weekend getaway with my opinion the best hosts that anyone could ever hope to have for a bed and breakfast....this is your spot! We will definitely be back and telling all of our friends and family. Perfect weekend getaway in one of the most beautiful places in NY. Just minutes away from tons of beautiful scenery, waterfalls and gorges, the village of lake placid is just a 10 minute drive up the road one way and in the opposite direction you have tons of locally owned hidden gems. Just beautiful and the price for being so spoiled and so well taken care of....you can't beat it ? Thank you again, Buck and Clea ❤️❤️Rooms: Very clean, cute and quaint! Linens were clean, plenty of towels, very comfortable beds/pillows.Nearby activities: So many "nature" and "natural beauty" activities within walking and driving distance. I think the longest we drove to get to something we were interested in doing was maybe 20 mins within the area that we were staying but most was within 5-10 mins drive and some things were absolutely within walking distance if you are active and would prefer the walking and exercise.Food & drinks: The breakfast is better than any restaurant you could go to and its included in the cost of your stay! The homemade breakfast and cooking is the worth the price alone and the price is beyond reasonable at that!

Buck and Clea are such wonderful hosts! They make you feel right at home, and the provided breakfast is fresh and delicious each morning. Close to many hikes and trails, and 15 minutes from downtown Lake Placid. Highly recommend!

Buck and Clea were so welcoming! I would recommend this B&B to solo and couple travelers looking for great hikes and a cozy country home experience.Rooms: The room was very comfortable, and a good place to come back to after a long day outdoors. The first night I had some trouble sleeping because it was slightly loud outside, but afterwards I got used to it.Nearby activities: Amazing hikes abound in the area, and there are many good food options minutes away. Lake Placid is only a 15-minute drive away for more food options, beach, and some entertainment.Food & drinks: Buck is a good cook and Clea knows how to present the food. They offer what they call a healthy and a hearty option with every breakfast. I liked everything I had, though even the healthy options were very sweet.

If you are looking to relax, this is the place. We loved having breakfast on the back patio, sitting in rocking chairs on the porch and looking out at the mountains. Buck gave us some great recommendations about where to kayak, hike and have dinner. We had much needed rest and relaxation!

Buck is an excellent host. It is a nice country home with I believe 6 room. We had the “ Lookout “ room which is dog friendly. Very nice grounds and gardens. Hot tub was hot- perfect temp. Breakfast was the only drawback if you wish to sleep in! Although great egg burritos he serves a “Fisherman’s breakfast at 730-830! Buck will leave them and the most wonderful Banana Bread out if you are a late sleeper! Over all excellent experiences

This was an amazing place to stay - Clea and Buck gave some awesome recommendations (nearby hikes, farmers markets, etc) and made three delicious breakfasts while we were there. We had the marble room which had a great whirlpool tub and also a beautiful skylight. The bnb was also very close to nearby hikes and lake placid. Would recommend for anyone looking for a getaway!

It had been a few years since our last stay at the B&B (covid…). Clea and Buck (the new owners), welcomed us like family. Everyone loved the old farm feel, the sofa in front of the fireplace and the hot tub after a long hiking day on Mt Algonquin. Good (and plentyful) food, clean and comfortable rooms, we will be back next year…

Great B&B! Hosts are wonderful, breakfasts were terrific! Clean & comfortable. The house is absolutely charming. The shared area has a lovely fire place, comfortable seating, games, books, etc... Perfect to have a cup of tea chatting with the other travellers. The back has a hot tub! We will be back! :)
