The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and always happy to recommend the perfect bottle, whether you're looking for an everyday table wine or a special gift. Their selection is fantastic, featuring a great mix of local NY offerings and international classics. Fair prices and excellent service—highly recommend!”
“Awesome little spot. Got a hard cider, a giant cup of soup, and a grilled cheese sandwich. The soup was stuffed pepper soup today. It was fantastic. The owner is super friendly.”
“Came here on a Saturday, and was immediately greeted by the very friendly owner. I asked for a recommendation on a unique and especially pungent wine, and he gave me a few to choose from (all reasonably priced), explaining each wine in detail. I appreciated how knowledgeable he was about all the various natural wines, without being intimidating about it! He provided a warm atmosphere, without being pushy. The owner also excitedly recommended an amaro that we had been eying, explaining how it was the cheaper alternative to a well known amaro for cocktails (PS we have since opened the bottle, and agree that this is a fantastic alternative). Before we left, he let us try a reserved Chartreuse! We loved this shop, and think it's worth a stop if you are looking for interesting selection of liquor and wines.”
